That is a bunch of bullshit actually. How could the Quran be a different outcome from the word of God? What exactly is the word of God? Tell me what the source is that is being interpreted differently by each of these groups? In fact that whole analogy is just ignorant and pointless in every way. Was it suppose to be making some sort of point? Or is it just copypasta from some other forum?

Nope 100% thought of while mowing the lawn.

After having read the Quran, I can tell you that Allah is NOT the same god as the Jewish/Christian God. I don't care what any Muslim says, they are not the same entity.

What examples, if any, can you give us? I don't watch CNN at all.

Lets try this. pretend each religion is a supreme court judge. The judges job is to interpret the constitution in this instance you can think of the word of god. The judges may have completely different point of views which can end up completely different outcomes. The Quran is a different outcome from the word of god as Jews and Christians see it.

Either way it's just safer to go with Satan.

Because clearly CNN is a bastion of unbiased reporting.

Now I'm not denying that there are fanatics in this world with... interesting... takes on Christianity (or any other religion for that matter) but these fanatics have almost no real political power and no credibility with either major political party.
There is not much bias when showing the speeches these people give. And I'm talking about all three (God's Jewish, Muslim and Christian Warriors).

Like Fox News?

Did he say Fox News was any less biased? I don't recall reading that. I think his point was to take a story that's more than likely just bashing Christian's based on the actions of a few with quite a large grain of salt.

Where in my initial post did I say anything about Christians. I was talking about religious fanatics of ALL religion. I'm not trying to attack Christians.

I don't even bother watching major news media it's too fucked up. The only thing I'll really watch is Keith Olberman on MSNBC. He seems to be level headed.

Mostly I get my news from Digg and my favorite news blog Crooks and Liars which I get my clips of Olberman from.

Lest we forget that Colbert is a liberal in wolf's clothing. His act is to constantly satire those from the serious end of the cable news industry. He actually takes things as he believes O'Reilly would do and runs with them. If, this farce were pulled off and it did happen, as in Man of the Year, I don't think anyone would be laughing anymore once they see him walk up to the podium and, totally out of character, begins talking about the reasons we should have a socialized health care system. Maybe I'm taking this too serious. I like Colbert, but let's face it, he mocks everything we on the right hold dear. He is good at it, many on the right don't even realize he is mocking them.

Are that many people on the right that stupid? I've watched his show a couple of times and honestly, I don't think he's good at it at all. He's more of a caricature of how a liberal might view a conservative than anything else. The way he acts isn't even extreme, it's just stupid. He hardly acts like any other conservative would. I realize that he thinks he's mocking Bill O'Reilly, but as someone who watches O'Reilly on a pretty regular basis, he acts like someone who just wants to twist how O'Reilly really is in order to make him look dumb. IMO, that just makes Colbert look even dumber.

Between the Daily Show and the Colbert Report, I pretty much don't watch Comedy Central from 8-9pm just because it is so stupid. I'm honestly surprised so many young people actually watch it for "news" since it's really anything but. Of course, that would explain on the misinformation that's out there.

I like Colbert, he does some funny stuff. But my perception is that there are so many politically illiterate people out there that wouldn't have any idea what a conservative really is and walk away from Colbert thinking that he pretty well sums them up, even though he don't come close. He is a satire, I see it, you see it, but idiots like Bill Maher don't. I rarely watch the Daily Show, Stewart as increasingly gotten worse over the past couple of years of constantly knocking the war and the President, even if he has a good point there is only so much of it you can listen to. I also watch O'Reilly everyday, despite the fact the lefties in Hollywood label him a hardcore Conservative, I don't think he is. I seem him as more of a traditionalist. I don't disagree with too much he says except his stance against the Death Penalty. Anyone who faces evil in the eye and or loses a loved one to these sickos, knows the death penalty is necessary and essential.

Bill Maher? But isn't he just another one of those leftist idiots? I'm sure Bill Maher interprets everything the right does in the same way Colbert does, but I don't think either of them see that as a serious conservative. I'm sure they both view it as "harmless comedy". I personally see it as lame, stupid comedy that isn't funny. And I don't see it as funny because they never do it to anybody on the left. But my real issue is with the stupid young people that watch it as real news and treat it like real news. That's a problem, especially since it's not real news.

I hope to God that there aren't people in the world who honestly believe that the show is real newscasting. Don't get me wrong, it's a great show, but it airs on Comedy Central, for Chrsit's sake.

Have you ever seen Stephen Colbert at the 2006 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner? I think that is proof somebody thought it was real or just didn't watch the show before booking him.

The Daily Show reports the real news it just makes fun of it. Which I prefer over the constant fear the local news spits out at you.

I try to stay away from 3rd party products thats why I never bought any other wireless controllers other than The Gamecube.

I remember in the original spending a long span of time trying to complete certian tasks in order to gain just four hidden characters. I remeber some of those guys being pretty hard to unlock. Especially Ness. With this one the hardest one to get will be Mewtwo looks like, since I need to play either 700 games in VS. or 20 hours of VS. I really don't have too many friends that play games where I live now, and the ones that do are not really Nintendo people. And on top of that I only have one controller. I'll just have to let multiplayer play an hour here and an hour there, I don't really like the idea of leaving it on overnight, use to do it with my old systems all the time, but I am kind of weary about doing it on a CD based system. They just seem kind of delecate to me.

Iäve done it tons of times and it never was a problem for me. I remember doing it for Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the Dreamcast.

FINALLY got my copy of SSB Melee. Haven't had much chance to play it yet. One thing that I find very annoying is that stupidly placed Z button being the grab/throw button, while so many of the easier to reach buttons are used twice for the same function, for example both L and R seem to do the exact same thing as does X and Y. What is the point of that? I wish you could remap the controls, that grab/throw thing I tend to put to over use. All of you who remember playing SSB on the 64 with your friends, I am sure most of you had that one annoying friend who would constantly be grabbing and throwing everyone, well, in my circle of friends, that was me. Hmm, perhaps they put it on the Z button to make it hard to use in order to cut down on over use.

It's not like you can buy the soundtrack anywhere and Melee is one of the best games ever. Leave 4 player vs on all night to get Mewtwo.

That is the coolest thing about the Wii, the ability to play all those old games. Though now that I have a Gamecube, I can't say I am very fond of the controller. I can imagine it being a challenge to play SNES and N64 games on. Perhaps I am not yet use to it and my opionion will change over time, but for now I would even hazard to say that it is one of the worst console controller designs to come out of the last few generations of console gaming (other than possibly the tiny pithy original PS1 controller before the analogue revision).

Funny, I feel the opposite. I mean, it's not as good as the Dual Shock, but the Gamecube controller is overall very comfortable. The C-Stick is kind of awkward at first, but the main stick is the best in the business. I like it a lot better than the X-Box or X360 controller, at least.

The original Xbawks controller was one of the worst, so big only the biblical giants themselves could use it and they were reported to have cramps sometime afterwards. Some other ones I heard were bad but never played with were The Atari Jaguar and The Philips CD-I.
