I found one that I am getting in about a week. It is a brown long haired dachshund. I want to call it Yotsuba (Japanese for four leaf clover and my favorite manga that is super happy cheery). It is 7 weeks old and the only one of it's litter that survived. I also heard it is very sweet.
I know about dachshunds my friend had 3 and one were always running away on the golf course behind their house. I heard someone my mom knows from work breeds them (I don't know if they have their shots).
This whole thing came about when I said I wanted to buy a tortoise. I always had to seek different kind of animals (reptiles, amphibians, a rabbit) as pets because I was never allowed to have a dog, though I really wanted one. All of a sudden I was asked "would you want a dog?" and I'm excited as hell.

Oh yeah I'm stuck in a campground in northern Michigan and I have to listen to an arcade demo of Tekken 3 in a game room if I want to use the internet on my Macbook. Which I use to play a lot of Grand Theft Auto: Sand Andreas.
Is there anything I should know? I'm thinking of getting a dachshund or Corgi. It has to be small.
I'm going to buy The Downward Spiral and try to get my Dad to listen to the beauty of it in the car. Also my Dad is a dick who doesn't know jack about being a Father.

Actually, if you legalized it, you could then tax it. Look at the price of cigarettes. The cost has more than doubled in the last 10 years as they keep adding taxes to them. If pot were legalized, they'd just start taxing it to death. Then at least all the pot heads would have to pay taxes on their habit.
They could always grow it at home or have a dealer.

Just bought the physical version of The Slip and I am really enjoying it.
So I just bought the first season of Fullmetal Alchemist (probably the last great action anime to be shown on Adult Swim) and the whole series of Cowboy Bebop.
Life is a waste of effort. Have as much fun as you can, laugh a lot, and smoke a lot of pot. People who take things seriously annoy me.

I still think there's an anime out there for everyone. The problem is diversity--unless you know Japanese, there's not a wide selection. American distros kicked themselves in the shins by marketting anime exclusively to nerds and thus pandering to the genres they're likely to enjoy (giant robots, battle shows with lots of fighting, etc.) and also by trying to market anime as something that was "extreme," at times even intentionally adding crude language to the English dubs to further that agenda.

Back in the VHS days, we got a much wider overall variety of anime. Now the market has sort of homogenized, and I don't blame anyone who "can't get into it."

When there is a chance to see something that a get to watch and discuss with people without having to watch a lot of episodes I will check it out. Also their was to much fanservice(do we really need sailor fuku, cat ears, and no pants?). But if the main character was older I'd watch more.
But watch Lucky Star it really is funny. There is a channel with all the episodes on Veoh.
What I like about some anime is that they are short. It doesn't overstay its welcome and you can put all the episodes in a nice box set that you can show off to your friends unless your a jaded misanthrope like me.
Most action anime sucks nowdays and are made for kids (like Bleach and Naruto). What I've been watching lately is mostly comedy like Lucky Star, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Welcome to the NHK. I have seen one shitty anime lately, it was called Strike Witches. There was many people talking about it on 4chan and I downloaded the first episode, I think it was made for pedos. None of the girls wore pants.
It was taken out again so forget it.
I bought somethings off Amazon and some payments were there in my bank account from the purchases from over 24 hours and now they're gone. Do you think they will return or can I buy more stuff?
Apparently my Mom is bringing home a dvd of this when she gets home.
