Naked Parties
Time
I'm not sure I would attend one of these parties, unless the ratio between men and women is higher towards the number of women, there's no rule about "looking at the eye level", and sex is permitted. Now that I think about, that'd be an orgy...

Seriously speaking, can you imagine how odd would be on the following day, when you see all the same people again, and you can picture how they are without clothes on?

The Non-Biased PS3 Thread

HD-DVD is a more stable format, cheaper to produce, with a on going market and more easily to reach the popular market, although it will take a couple of years. If I had to bet on a single format, HD-DVD would be it. Sony has a history of trying to impose a closed standart and failing miserably (Betamax, Memory Stick, UMD), I strongly belive Blu-Ray will continue this trend.

Thought so. Like Ferris209 said, there are basises for permitting death penalty, and war-time killing. Yeah, we have the "turn the other cheek" motto, but there is also a level of being responsible for your fellow man, and if that means removing a subject from society that will be nothing but a continual threat, then that is the responsible thing to do.

I don't support abortion in any way. The commandment, to me, still reads "not kill" and is regardless of any exceptions or "unless...". What makes you think one side has the right to kill? Killing in order to prevent killings of people who don't kill?

Yes, it would be nice to be able to breathe unincumbered. I'm American. I supported the Kyoto treaty...but my government doesn't give a flying fuck. The neo-cons are also currently trying to send 25k more troops into Iraq. We need another 60s youth culture uprising again. It's freaking overdue.

Are you insane? You want every other person smoking pot fucking everywhere? The VERY LAST THING we need is a fucking 60's culture my good man. Neo-cons is such a stupid term btw, and What we DO NEED is another 25,000 troops in Iraq.

I was not being sarcastic, I just thought the whole argument on how the Bible actually approves killing to be somewhat of a atheistic argument to disprove the book and show some contradiction. Or maybe it's just an hypocritical way to remain religious and do nothing of what the religion commands.

About the whole Global Warming: I could not care less. I have no children and no signs (let alone intention) to be having any. Most of the effects of this, some that are already being felt now and are clearly not something that "just happens every thousands of years", will have a deep, deep impact in our lifes (making them quite "unlivable") when I'm already dead - and I'm considering that I won't live too much. I've seen some people on this thread say that they won't care because they won't be alive, that's pretty much the spirit. Everything that has a slightly protective agenda is labeled "liberal commie crap" by those who have brainwashed you (corporations, TV, close community) into beliving this is bad for your way of life and your "economy". If right-wing conservatives are wrong, we'll all be dead anyway (and those who for some reason remain will blame "teh evil terrorists").

It'll only take some changes in our way of doing things to correct this problem, and it won't mean we will be living in a communist freedomless facism or be controlled by the evil terrorists. So WHY do you keep denying the fact that we are killing our planet? You really care about major corporation's profit that much???

Are you sure it's lost? It's in the special features section on the remastered DVD. (Unless that's just a different clip that they put the song to.)

The song is included on the soundtrack for the movie (not the same as the original album), but the original "Hey You" scene is indeed lost. Some of the footage remained on the film on different sequences, and some other footage could have been used for the DVD special feature (actually some of the footage do exist in bad shape from a work print).

Both Roger Waters and the director thought the scene with the song (rioting crowds) broke the rhythm of the movie and was too down beat in a sad moment of the film. They wanted to bring the scene back later, but the footage is lost.

Moses: Thou shalt not kill!

Man in crowd: What?

Moses: Uh... you can't kill.

Man in crowd: Are you sure God specifically said kill? Didn't he mean murder?

Moses: Is there a difference?

Man: Why, sure! Killing is when you have to end someone's life to defend yourself, and your family...

Second Man: And your territory!

Man: Yes, and your way of life...

Third Man: Your money...

Second Man: Your right to have a weapon. Your country's soberany.

Man: Your profit.

Moses: Okay, okay, and murder is when you kill someone for another reason, right?

Man: Yes.

Moses: Like what?

Man: Come again?

Moses: What would not be a good justification for killing someone, what is murder?

Man: Mostly abortion.

Moses: Oh shut up. Enough of that. God dosen't want people to kill anyone, under no circustances.

Man: Suppose God asks me to kill my own son.

Moses: Quiet! Now, next commandment... thou shall not commit adultery.

(Whole crowd boos and goes away)

Man: But what if I kill her husband first?

Moses: Oh forget about it, tell you what, do whatever you please as long as it's not too gay, okay? If you need me I'll be at my tent.

Well, ric, so far in this thread the concensus seems to be:

"Global warming was just a stupid fake hypothesis created by commie-loving liberals in order to stop companies from having profit!"

The good thing about being a conservative is that if you're wrong, you'll be dead anyway.

Not sure about the distance from the router. I've connected on "teh internets" with the Wii using a router that was inside a closed room, at the end of a corridor that connected to the living room, where the Wii was placed, on the floor and on the opposite side of the corridor entrance.

Also, I've seen on the Wii options that you can connect the Wii on a wired internet connection, but I'm not sure how that works. Perhaps through one of the USB connections on the console? I've got to take a look at the manual again, but I don't remember seeing that being mentioned there...

Regarding the controllers, I belive using a GC controller is better - cheaper then the classic one and it won't run your wiimote batteries out.

I'll try to use web msn messenger over the Internet Channel, see if it works...
