If GL had any vision, he would make Jabba this insanely different vision of what a space mob big boss would look like. Maybe a child with a man's voice, or a little small alien - as in MIB... That would have been possible to do back in '76. Did he really think he would be able to replace the actor with a stop-motion creature?

I didn't have in mind an intervention or a boxing match, I thought about a debate, a political one, in which GL would discuss the issue politely... of course, they could always go to Jerry Springer:

It's not any of these, it's another movie, mildly unknown, I can't remember the title right now. It has a little bit more swear words than Casino.

You know what I think? I think we should gather all that material, photos, old interviews, all those signatures, and send someone to debate with George Lucas on the issue. Maybe Jay could do it. Or maybe Kevin Smith, I don't know. Maybe he would release the original movies if confronted with the issues presented by the fans.

Yes, but those were monochromatic scenes. It only captured the absence or existence of light, not the colors itself.

I think it's nice to have Schwazeneger as a governor of California. He's not as right-winged as many republicans are, he can be laughed of and get the blame for anything bad he does in the office, and he cannot be elected as president, so there's no danger in that happening.

I was on my way to the airport when the opening cerimony was on it's way, but my brother taped it, and I've just watched it... it was kinda neat, althought it could be better. Those statues opening in the air were great. And it was good to see Bjork again - she's so cute =P, and she sings in such a beautiful way... And for some creepy reason they forgot about Vangelis, he would probably compose a good song for this olympics... maybe he died already, I don't know...

You know what I always wanted to see, but I've never found? A NC-17 or X rated World War II or Vietnan War movie. A perfect anti-war movie should show a war's real gore and violence.

Wow, people really don't pay attention on what is said during movies! The reason of why he was standing to the wall is... oh forget it.

I loved Blair Witch project, not only because it is a clever, psychological film, but because of the way it was promoted, it was GENIOUS. Even if you don't like the movie, you gotta admitt, that was a brillant idea.

BW2 is crap.

This is what I would keep from the 1997 version:

* Sarlaac pit. Oh well.
* Windows on cloud city.
* "You're lucky to get out of there". Sounds better, and it was the original theatrical release line, I think.
* Biggs scene before the battle. It's ok I guess.

Things I would keep from the 2004 version:

* The new Jabba minus tail steping and minus Bobba Fett.
* Maybe the new celebration scene, but I haven't seen it yet, so I don't know.

The rest would be like the original ones, except I wouldn't mind correcting matte lines and cuts when lightsabers are turned on/off.
