Exactly, and it dosen't apply merely to our jobs, but to our whole life as well. My motto is: "The worse thing it could happen is me geting killed, and that's not really that bad."

JediSage, it wasn't clear to me if you oppose darwinism because of your religion or because you simply dosen't "belive" it. To me, there's nothing to "belive", it's the truth. I mean, how many people today "belive" the Earth spins around the Sun, and not the opposite? People don't belive it, they KNOW that. Darwin's evolutionary theory is true, it has been documented, studied, and prooven. Even the church has partially agreed with it, in it's route to modernization.

And it's not "random", it dosen't work like that. On every specie, future generations may have different atributes, and if those atributes are better for survival, those "different" species are most likely to survive and perpetuate their own species. It's logical to me.

I enjoyed the movie, not a fan of it. But I do follow some of it's philosophies. I don't enjoy my job, never really did, and I've seen some much crap all those years, I just don't care anymore. All you have to do is to work as little as you can, make sure your boss belives your job is difficult and stressing, look busy all the time, go to meetings and say as much as you can (it dosen't matter what), stay up late in office at least once every month, and make sure your boss knows about it... Do it, and you'll do just fine.

I remember this time when I was working on this other city, it was my last week there and all I had to do is to perform a copy of a database on a wednesday, I was pretty much stuck there for the rest of the week. I was in a small room filled with computers and servers and this incredibly noisy air duct, and there was no one there and my cell phone didn't work there... Well, what can I say? I had freaking picnics there, with burgers, and milkshakes and chocolate bars the size of books, I got some extra pounds that week. I'd web surf like I never did before. I'd post here. I'd escape work without anyone seeing me (I didn't talk to anyone at that company that week!) and go to the mall. I watched Spiderman 2, and got back without anyone noticing. And the best part is: they payed my consulting firm the hours I spent there - and I only really worked for like, 3 hours that week.

A geek and a MP fan like me listening to that, is like when Flanders knew the Simpsons kids weren't baptized.

*Fourth wall, incase you were wondering.

The movie never broke the fourth wall, there's was only this one part where the historian talked to a camera, but that was a documentary-esque scene, in which he needed to talk to the camera. Apart from the narration, in no point the characters talk to the audience or are aware that it is a movie. But oh well.

Do you think that Lucas' directing style has changed since 1977?

The thing is, Christiensen, Portman, McGregor-- thse people are some of the best actors of this era...
Strange...I never heard of any of them until I heard about them being cast in Star Wars.
Seems to me that there are far better actors among their contemporaries...
darn, I was hoping IMDB had some kind of age-based search.

I knew who Ewan McGregor was before, and I've seen one or two movies with him on it before I've seen episode 1. I knew who Natalie Portman was. I don't remember knowing who Hayden was before episode 2. But that dosen't mean they are good or bad actors. McGregor is a good actor, real good, one of the best around nowadays. Natalie Portman is ok. Hayden Christiensen looks like a mediocre actor... The fact that you didn't know about them dosen't mean they are bad actors. The best actors around are mostly unknown.

No not really, it's just that saying to a geek like myself that "MP and the Holy Grail" is stupid is like stabbing my soul with a rusty, old knife and twisting it.

The knights who say ni
Demand a sacrifice
And a schruberry

Apples, tiny rocks,
Wood, witches, and yes, a duck
All float in water

Those who seek the grail
May find it in the castle
of arrr rrrr rrrr rrrr

Lose the "much".

I counted as mi-le-nium fal-com. I'm not so good with sylable separation with non-latin languages, there are no defined "rules".
