But Nausicaa is great. Just don't watch it in the same room with Rush Limbaugh.
LOL why not? I'm pretty sure he'll enjoy it.
And about Evangelion: yeah, based on what I know you liked and disliked, I wouldn't recomend Evangelion to you. I'd rather recomend Naruto. Have you seen it?

I don't hate Monty Python anything, I just thought it was pretty worthless.
And I don't hate Frank Miller either; I've never read any thing he'd done.
And when I hear "Woody Allen" I think Woody from Toy Story mixed with Tim Allen. Which gets me absolutely nowhere. I've never heard of him outside Ric's little theory.
LOL hahaha no, too funny to be true. You really don't know who Woody Allen is? Really?
[sarcasm]No, Warbler. I've been lying to you and making myself look even more ignorant on top of not knowing where the "Mostly" line came from or who the Knights of Ni are![/sarcasm]
No, it was me who said it. Good ol' Ric.
And this is mr. Woody Allen.

LOL...actually, I've been wanting to start to get into Manga, Anime, etc; Can you recommend anything good? I've heard about one called Ghost in the Shell. Unfortunately, the only things I've seen that I'm not sure can be considered anime are the old Voltron cartoons in the US, and the short in Kill Bill Vol1.
OK I'd recomend some stuff by Hayao Miyazaki first (Nausicaa, Spirited Away, Grave of the Fireflies, maybe Future Boy Conan if you prefer something more like a family-oriented fun series). Than I'd either move to Tezuka or go straight to "Akira". After that, Ghost in the Shell, and then you'll be ready for the real stuff: Cowboy Bebop, and GAINAX masterpices: FLCL, Wings of Honeimase, and finally... Neon Genesis Evangelion, the holy grail of anime.
If you don't have the time, go straight to Neon Genesis Evangelion.

It's a bit like the R in "rico! suave!"
Seriously, there is no equivalent to that sound in english (as there's no equivalent to the english "TH" as in "the" "that" "this", in portuguese)

Wicket, puzzled, looked back at Chewie and said "Why no, I don't have trouble with crap sticking to my fur."
So Chewbacca picked Wicket up and wiped his ass with him.
LOL wrong on so many levels... Reminds me of an old thread about an year ago that discussed how were the bathrooms in the SW universe, having so many different creatures with different bodies...

There's also the way people from Rio pronounce R, but I won't go into detail, they have this horrible sounding accent.

For the record: Nobody is unbiased. It is impossible. Anyone who makes a claim of being unbiased is fooling themselves at best, and should not be trusted at worst.
I personally would rather get a root canal than watch CNN. We used to refer to CNN as the Clinton News Network. I read a lot of Worldnetdaily.com, which is independent.
You once again failed to state what exactly Kyoto will do except redistribute wealth, but as you say, I wish you luck.
"The inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries"-Winston Churchill
You call the BBC, one of the most respectful media agents of the past 70 years, "america hating"? Excuse me, but what do you consider to be a secure, unbiased source of news? Fox? You know why you belive BBC hates america? Because their news are NOT edited according to corporate interests. Surprise, surprise! Guess what, america, you guys gets a WHOLE different point of view from the rest of the world! An edited, secure point of view that does not harm the government acts, corporate interests and dosen't make the people THINK. Rupert Murdock dosen't want you to know about murdered civillians. Ted Turner either, with their CNN losing credibility...
CNN used to have credibility back in the early 90s, but thngs are changing.
Kyoto protocol redistributing wealth? What, you mean the sanctions imposed to overdeveloped countries ruled by underdeveloped minds? I guess being the worlds biggest polution source means nothing at all eh? Let's send the bill China like Bush wants, america is NOT paying for that. Oh but we'll pay Halliburton 2 billion dollars to "re-build" Iraq and gets their oil, oh we'll do that yes.

I like George C Scott, and the movie is almost remade shot-by-shot, so it's equally great. Of course it's not THAT good, I mean that's Spences Tracy, but still...

Drink all the coke leaving only just a little bit on the bottom (about two "fingers" deep). Now, get some chlorine (don't use tablets, and don't use chlorine dust too thin, it must be kinda rocky), and with a funnel put about 4 or 5 spoons of it. Do it quickly! Now, close the bottle as fast as you can and throw it away: the chlorine will react with the coke and the gases inside will expand and burts the bottle up. If you want to make a rocket, it's a little bit trickier, as you must turn the bottle upside down without letting the coke get out.
i may want to try it
You have about 4 or 5 seconds to close the bottle tight and throw it away. But don't worry it's not that strong, the bottle will bust out and make some noise, but it can't actually hurt someone.

1- The thread's topic hardly refers to "general SW discussing", it's merely a joke thread based on SW.
2- I knew it would eventually move to regular poems/haikus when people got tired of the SW joke and it stoped being funny.

BB dictates that it was millions of years of swirling gases that resulted in the universe and he thinks that could be God's "on the first day." Same with evolution. He likes to think that evolution still happened over the course of the number of years that scientists believe it to have happened but that the Bible refers to that entire process as a "day."
I liked it. Seemed to work for me.
Apparently he is also familiar with the play "Inherit the Wind".
BTW, I suppose everyone on this thread should see Inherit the Wind.
