Anywho, Jedikev:

ROBIN ISN'T GAY.

'Nuff said.

To me, Batman and Robin were just two guys who just shared this place together, they were doing some stuff with art and stuff, and they shared this place, and they were all part of the clubbing thing in Gotham City, were freqnently at the hottest spots in town, and they had a good relationship and were open minded and decided to experiment and stuff... So they did, and they do get together sometimes, at raves and stuff, but they don't consider themselves to be gay, Robin claims to be bisexual to some of his friends because he think it's cool to be it.

The Humanoid (1979), the Italian Star Wars

I watched it on cable about 5 or 6 years ago, and I just couldn't belive how bad it was. It's really unbelivable, it reaches a whole new level of being a bad film, it's like watching someone loved being tortured, it's horrible. I taped it when it aired again, so I could torture other people with it, but I don't have the tape anymore. I heard it had a DVD release, but it's either highly unavailable or not really released.

Older films shot in Cinemascope had some weird distortion issues which is why there are very little close ups in these films. It got better with Panavision but you still notice some weird issues, especially at the edges of frames.

The best example of this is the home releases of "Its a mad mad mad mad world", it's very distorted at the edges.

Video Games - a general discussion thread

OK, here's my insight in some games I've played so far:

* Wario Touched (Nintendo DS): Very fun minigames. It might take a while for you to figure out what's giong on, and when you do it could be too late. The minigames are quite fun to play, specially those spoofing old nintendo games. I don't know the re-play factor for this game, it might get old after you did all the minigames...

* Wario Twisted (Game Boy Advanced): As above, but EXTRA fun. The gyroscope works great, and gives a feeling feedback to the user like the rumble pack did. The mini games are also quite fun, and guaranteed to make you laugh. If asked to chose between the two "warios", I'd probably choose Twisted.

* Meteos (Nintendo DS): A somewhat confusing but creative puzzle game in which you must align columns horizontally moving them only vertically, and thus sending them as rockets to the enemy. It didn't seem to be that much fun, but I could be wrong...

* Ridge Racer DS (Nintendo DS): I've played only the multiplayer version, and it seemd kinda buggy, alghough fun. Of course, these early games might have some problems with multiplayer, but not letting the racer use it's username as the name onscreen is ridiculous. The controllers are good and respond actually well. I haven't played the single player version, so I can't tell how good the game actually is, but the multiplayer version is actually quite fun, if you have enough people to play.

* Puyo Pop Fever (Nintendo DS): By SEGA. I own this one. It's a puzzle game similar to tetris or shapes and columns, but with focus over the "combat" mode. It's more complex than it seems, and although it gets "too cute" sometimes, it looks and sounds great. The multiplayer mode is fun, but if one player is better than the others, the whole game is ruined (you can set up a handicap). It's one of my favorite games, and is HIGLHY addictive...

I'll add more reviews later.

I hate having to sleep everyday, let alone unconfortable beds... Why shouldn't we just keep ourselves away everytime?

I hate the fact that I'll be moving away to a smaller city because of a job offer, I hope things work out - btw I might be absent for some time...

So you're moving to the states? Good luck. My wife and I are moving next week, but we're only moving down the street.

I'm moving to another town over here, in Brazil. I'll be working on the states for a few weeks, not gonna live there.

Nosotros SOMOS mexicanos, si? Los verbos (verbos? I don't know) "soy" y "estoy" eh... uh... ok english: all mean "to be", but "soy" means identity and "estoy" means place, permanence. "I am mexican" : Yo soy mexicano. "I am in mexico": Estoy en Mexico.

Elfman reminds me too much of Horner: They recycle--and I mean BLATANTLY recycle--a lot of their earlier scores without so much as a superficial tweak here and there. Granted, the same can be accused of Williams, but I feel he's versatile enough that he can duck that.

Morricone has always been fun, although when he's off, he's WAY off.

Eh?! What about Henry Mancini?

Freakiest part of the whole thing.

The rest was blah.

They spoke a weird phonetically memorized portuguese in that scene...
