Johnny 5 vs. T-800

J5 would be minding his own business, watching the marx bros for the umpteenth billionth time, when suddenly the T-800 shows up out of the Time Sphere. J5 goes to investigate. T-800 sees him and punches him through the house. J5 comes back and pops him with an 80s laser while quoting groucho. T800 is held aback in confusion as his fake flesh singes. the Terminator theme song blares in the background. J5 looks around, trying to figure where the music is coming from. T800 lunges towards him as he is distracted. breaks him in half with a well executed pile driver. In a last ditch effort, as the T800 is about to say something witty, J5's laser goes off one final time, this time in between the eyes. T800 falls to the ground, wires singed. J5 says, "Ah'll be bock" and shuts down.

effort goes to J5, but technically it's a draw.

so, how about the davids?!

EDIT: hopefully this gets caught before a reply is posted. Superman vs. Neo. set in the matrix.

oooh.. good one. I'm sorry to say, but Lost in Space Robot will win. C3P0 is way too chicken by himself to do anything except run away. Now, if R2D2 was there with him, he'd win by a landslide. Lost in Space Robot would accidently run over C3P0. He's way heavier and bigger.

EDIT: ahh.. different opinions. i, of course, and talking of the 60s version of robot.

enterprise vs. falcon, eh?

well, picard's enterprise has the mass number of crew on their side, but han's falcon has pure innovation and execution of plans. As much as I wish picard would win, i'd have to say solo. He'd find some sort of little known weakness in the enterprise and blow it up.

ahh.. but the same people back in 96/97 felt the same about DVDs. and look where that's at now. this will be settled fairly soon. I have no doubt in my mind. In the meantime, i'll probably get both an HD-DVD plaayer and a ps3. because i'm a glutton for new fangled toys.

EDIT: you know, i take that back. I'll get the system with the better movies. I won't be getting this until sometime in autumn, anyway. I still have time to come to an educated decision...

EDIT²: just missed this.. i think i'll get this instead...
