Clerks 2 on July 21st.
Time
I might end up making some enemies, but I have to put this out. I did not like the ending to clerks 2. It all ended a bit too happy for my taste. Now, I'm not saying it shouldn't have been a happy ending, just that this ending concluded everything a bit too perfectly. I will refrain from giving out any details for those who haven't seen it. It just seemed very John Hughes-ish.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the characters in the movie. Happily ever after always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Also, the writing was as witty as ever. The seemingly endless tirades about nothing that the first clerks is famous for is still there, if not more so. It brought closure to the Jersey Series. But the ending could've been hashed out just a tad more.

.......but i'll still buy it when it gets released on dvd.

...I'm just a few days away from completing my ROTJ transfer and then we get this bombshell. I'm extremely pissed off at Lucas for pulling this crap, he kept on releasing the OOT on VHS with the slogan that it would be the last chance to own it, then he added all that CGI crap and denied the OOT still existed, now he's releasing it on DVD.

...

I'm going to finish my ROTJ transfer just so my trilogy is complete but after that I'm done with SW LD stuff, my US definitive box set, my German set and my French set cost me a lot and I don't think I'd get much money for them on eBay now so they'll just be packed away like the ark of the covenant in Raiders. Will I buy the DVDs later this year? "baa baa"....

I am hoping he will follow through.

Help me come up with the next Pixar movie
Time
Here's a sort of a wonderful fairy tale fable about a white knight who would do anything to win the love of a princess. he repeatedly slayed dragon after dragon in each town she sent him to, and after each venture, would bring back the head of the dragon's to prove his love for her. only after the gallant knight was defeated by a 10-headed dragon did the princess realize what she had taken so much for granted.

I had a dream about this years ago. great story. i'm sure it's been written before, but i love it anyway.

fluff it with whatever comes to mind, plus add a bit of comic relief and there you go. a pixar-ish movie. although the story in itself would work great as well. obviously a more serious tone...
