Let me just believe that she knew nothing of her real mother, or her being adopted, so that I can assume that she was thinking that Mom Organa was her real mom. I try my hardest to like the Saga. It's an uphill battle, I know, but I've got to try.

Leia remembering her mom/the ending of ROTS has never bothered me, because I instantly assumed she was referring to her adopted mother. I don't remember her ever suggesting that she was adopted. And some adopted kids grow old and die without ever knowing that they were adopted. Perhaps Bail and Mrs. Organa wanted to keep the seperation from her parent(s) as large as possible, to keep her away from Li'l Annie. That's how I've always seen it. And as far as luke kissing his sister, it doesn't bother me either. Leia was hot, and Luke didn't know it was his sister. And besides, there was no tongue.

I love the back of that cover.

"In this film you see how all of the jedi are exterminated, what finally
happens to Padme, the mother of Luke and Leia, how Anakin
becomes Darth Vader, adn how the crumbling Republic becomes
the first Galactic Empire. Warning though, Anakin's change to Darth
Vader is quite scary and will definitely upset the little ones! Wow,
Lucas has done it, and made a successful connection to the original
Star Wars film, A New Hope! One of the coolest bits is seeing the
Tantive IV, Bail Organa's rebel blockade runner, from A New Hope
in action towards the end of Revenge of the Sith."

Nice teaser. Wish it was a little more clear as to what might happen in the movie.

I'm pretty sure that I saw somewhere that it's not WS on the LD. And that the HDnet showing is, and includes an extra scene not seen on the VHS or LD.

Has anyone made a good grab of the HDnet showing of Night of the Comet? I need a good copy of this film in a BAD way. I haven’t seen it on TV in years, and all I have is a CRAPPY vhs copy. I’ve heard there is additional footage on the TV broadcasts as well. Any hep hair would be hot.

I'm glad that I stumbled upon this thread. I was googling for a criterion munchausen disc, and this popped up. Is someone going to do a good transfer of this? If not I may have to finally take the leap and get an LD player and capture card. Any recommendations on capture devices/filters/etc?

I have some tapes somewhere of eps IV-VI that I taped off of HBO when I was a kid. Does anybody know what the source was on those? Which sound mix was it? Any other info? I’m going to copy them to my stand alone DVD burner, cause they’re sentimental to me. I must have watched those tapes a million times.
