i'm 99.9% sure the commencement speech is on the season 2 discs, but i'll dig out my dvd's and check. i'll look through all my SBC stuff to see if i have the clips you're looking for. i'm glad you're on this, cuz i was thinking the same thing, but i'm in the middle of a move and i'm too lazy right now to do this!

I have the "200 Motels" LD and VHS. I have placed the movie on a CDR along with the long out of print Zappa made "True Story of 200 Motels" video documentry.

any chance of you placing the movie and the doc on dvdr?

the speech is on ali g season 2. i have aiii, bling bling and i believe a third SBC disc somewhere. I also have a couple of discs i grabbed a while back called borat programme 1 and 2. can't remember what's on them. preserving all those tv appearances would be great. maybe the people that upped the clips on to youtube could be contacted to help out.

That was freaking great. I requested the torture droid fix, and while not what I thought it would be, what you did works great! This fix will help me enjoy that scene so much more. Truly amazing work. I may be begging you for some help with my (future) edits.

Another great film not on DVD, and the only Richard Linklater film to no make it onto DVD. Does anyone know of a preservation or future DVD plans?

i have winrar and all the files. it still refuses to do anything. is there a specific file that i need to click on first? do i need to group the video ts files into folders? do i need to wear a bra on my head and hook up the doll?

Adywan. Yours is the edit I await the most. It seems like it's going to be an audio visual feast. I have two suggestions/requests. The (probe?) droid used on Leia during her interrogation has always bugged me. Even as a child that damn syringe just took me out of the movie. If there is a way you can alter/erase it, I think it would be great. And the Death Star explosion. The new one is just bad. The original was not really scaled right. It would be nice to see the explosion scaled correctly, with a slightly slower, and more dense cloud of debris. I can see it in my head, but I can't describe it very well. It just seems that the explosion shown is about 1/1000th the density that it should be, if that makes sense. Anyway, keep up the great work.

I think the blue planet looks perfect. I would just think that it's just some random planet under imperial control. The whole scene looks so great with the blue planet background.

The only thing I can see that looks a little off, is in the second shot of the DS, the starfield and the DS seem to be moving too much. Other than that, I love it.
