I'm really surprised that some people are saying that there isn't a noticeable difference between an upscaled DVD and a 720p video and that i am wasting my time doing this in 720p when an upscaled DVD would look the same and it would take me less time to go back to working with DVD res.

Well here is a snapshot showing the difference. The DVD has been upscaled to 720p using a high quality upscaler. Now tell me that an upscaled DVD looks as good as HD. If you do you need to go to specsavers. lol

 

 

Just make sure you click on the image after it loads to give you the full res.

that may just be point of view, but they do have the two pits on either side of the ramp mixed up a lot.

^I am in agreement. Bossk should look like a menacing, pissed off bounty hunter... He shouldn't look like an actor in a rubbery Halloween costume.

 

 

Just out of interest, does anyone happen to know where the other bounty hunters were supposed to have gone after the Falcon ninja-ed itself to the back of the SD bridge? It seems as if only Boba left.   =/

 i read bounty hunters, 'novel' and a lot of them went to different places. some ig 88 intercepted Bobba fett in tatooine space, he's dead btw. bossk was lead on a false pursuit towards kasykke. the others, well, they were all mislead. only bobba had brains.

I think the reason GL put hayden in, was because he only wanted to experiment with it.

me and my friends use that line all the time! nothing new, but its a classic! ;)

that is a cool book. i enjoy seeing how much larger the location really is. such as the battle of hoth.

one thing i liked about this movie is the communications between pilots. "Three of em, coming in, twenty degrees''                "Cut to the left i'll take the leader!"               Idk why, but i thought it was cool.

 Finally! that's wat i try to tell people when they question a  movie they see because they don't understand how it worked. Not everything in a movie needs to be explained people!

He definitely had extensive makeup in ROTJ. Personally I'm of the opinion that they didn't need to show a moment when he changed from human to deformed, and that a gradual decay worked better; if you look at his makeup in AOTC you can see he's starting to change already and I think that was originally the way they were going to go, but in ROTS he's back to normalface until he zaps himself.

yea i believe they used his actual face in ROTJ, but had a mask in ROTS. i might have gotten that backwards.

 if the titles were changed for the PT, might as well do it for the OT. i'm srry, but the PT are stuck just as they are. i don't mean to sound like an ass, but its wat i think.

in my opinion, the OT was the only one needed to be revamped. mostly because of poor elements, inconsistencies and such.

 watch palpatine speak in the PT and then watch the Emperor speak while in the thrown room. u'll notice a resemblence in facial movements.

in the PT, everything with the jedi, philosphy, sabers, adventures and such, was right on track with how i imagined it. so there's stuff i know the PTR i won't like at all.

yea, i won't be around for the PT edits. i like wat your doing with the OT ady, but i all except for color corrections and anakan's and padme's acting, i don't really care if they get changed. i'm fine with the way they are.

i'll still check in, maybe u'll change my mind :)
