not.
Oh hey it’s second grade again!
My mom still says “Not!”. But she’s almost 80 and it’s kinda funny.
not.

Cool. I’ll get this tonight!
If I ever hear Yakety Sax one more time, I’m going to kill somebody.
The odds say you should prepare to take a life at some point. It’s unavoidable.
JEDIT- Hearing Yakety Sax is what I’m saying is unavoidable. Not murder.
I agree except for the part where I’ve never watched the show so I can just stick to my opinion that it’s a dumb idea.
I agree.
Yeah I was told that once before.
Surviving getting cut in half is one thing. Getting a saber through the chest is quite another. It’s not like he’s going to come back as a head in a jar on a robot body.
Maul has been in RotJ all this time…
Monsters (2010)
Oh my god… I loved this.
Highly recommended to everybody everywhere.
^^ lol it really does look unfinished to me. And silly.
Looks like it should be in a Masters of the Universe movie.
Yes, to those kids he’s Santa Clause. I’ll agree with you on that. I wish I could still believe in Santa Clause…
Not to take away from your point or focus too much on pedantics. It’s simply a pet peeve of mine I see thrown out way too often. But I really, really, really wish we could knock out this misconception that Santa Claus has an “e” in it. I don’t know if it was the Tim Allen movie that did it (the title of that movie is a pun), or if it was widespread before that, but this has to stop! It has to stop, I say!!!
I stand corrected. Where I live we have Sinterklaas
Ah, a Dutchman? I knew I liked ya!
You too?
No, just a fan from the USA. Almost moved to Den Bosch this time last year. Probably should have.
H, and it didn’t end well.
Heroin never ends well. Get help buddy. I care.
What the heck is a binary load lifter?
The load is either lifted or it isn’t.
Only a Sith speaks in absolutes.
I really wish Anikin’s response to that had been “Are you absolutely sure?”

Yeah, start with the first.
R1 is cool, but it’s a terrible introduction to the galaxy. I think it plays best as a bonus story after watching ROTJ.
^ But then how does Luke get it back?
I meant for Vader just not to have it at all. Mask over it or whatever sorcery Adywan does
Ah, right on. I had it backwards.
Pulp Fiction 1994
One of the finest films ever made.
I’d rather have this than a recast Tarkin. I don’t think I could buy someone else in the role. The face is too iconic.
I don’t need to buy it as Cushing, I do need to buy it as Tarkin.
They should have cut away more, but, again, it works for me.
As for any ethical issue, Cushing’s estate gave it’s blessing.
OK, so there is no legal issue. But I am not sure that an estate’s blessing is enough to eliminate any ethical issue.
I think this is important because Peter Cushing definitely did not agree to star in a film made decades after his death, regardless of however much money his estate was given. I also am curious how you all would feel when and if they do CGI Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Alec Guinness, and whoever else they want to recreate. I think it sets a very creepy precedent.
If they start using CGI to recreate dead actors to be in films they had no association with, then it will become a weird, creepy thing. But in this instance, I feel they didn’t recreate Peter Cushing, they recreated Governor Tarkin.
Paja’s bringin’ the goods!
^ But then how does Luke get it back?
I’ve said this a few times, but I’ll say it again:
I didn’t buy it being Peter Cushing, but I did buy it being Tarkin.
Peter Cushing is one of my favorite actors, and I could tear the R1 performance to shreds, but it’s good enough that I can buy into it being that character, just not that actor.
It works for me.
Just saw an ad for the new X-Files series. Had no idea that was happening.
If it could be done, I’d love to see the shield gate.
I’m not bothered either way though.
Road House (1948)
I enjoyed it much.
I have this idea of turning batman begins into a star wars short film by cutting all of the film instead of the bruce training, Adding lines from TPM and ROTS, Removeing bruces name with anikin and skywalker, rotoscopeing swords as light saber, and adding OT and PT music. Maybe
I had the idea to make a Top Gun edit replacing the music with songs from Judas Priest’s Turbo album. For the 99.9% of you who don’t listen to metal and post on a Star Wars forum, that movie was supposed to use songs from that album but the band turned it down.
That would’a been great! Great band, great album.
The third one. I think.
I can’t believe this is even being disputed.
Have you missed the crushingly handsome discussion?
