What’s so hard about knocking it off when someone say’s it’s aggravating them? Warb asked for it to stop several times before getting to the point that he’s ready to leave the forum. How was Warb’s cheering so annoying that it warranted pissing him off?

that joke… is just as perversely cruel as ESB “apologies accepted” / “Perhaps you think you are being treated unfairly?” and so on

Those aren’t stupid puns.

JEDIT- looks like I already covered this point-

Those aren’t stupid puns, the R1 joke is.
The lava planet scene is bad. The pun. The swishy way he walks. The way he wags his finger in Kenricks face. Oh so sassy, but not so Vader.
I love the rest of the stuff with him in R1 though.

Today the mailman should be delivering an original pressing of Oingo Boingo’s 2nd album Nothing to Fear with the original mix of the song Private Life (all other copies feature the Single Mix). This will complete my Onigo Boingo discography. There will be celebration.

It’s here! I have it! The collection is complete!
(actually I might be missing a single… gonna have to look)

I approve of anything related to Danny Elfman.

The Shape of Water

I hate it! It’s such a boring documentary on fluid dynamics.

That’s weird, I was listening to the new Keep It podcast and they kept saying it was about a woman who wanted to fuck a fish.

Sorry for the language but that’s a direct quote.

Thanks for letting me know to never listen to these folks.

Have you seen The Shape of Water?

Yep. It was great.
But this isn’t the thread for that.

You’ve heard of this newfangled thing called “a joke” right?

If that was your joke, …ok.
If it was theirs, I’ll pass.

The subscriber’s cover for that issue of Empire is awesomer in every way.

Ugh. Of all the great quotes they coulda’ used, they went with that embarrassing pun.
Oh dear, oh dear.

I have to agree with you there. What’s wrong with, “If this is a consular ship…”? It’s surely the most appropriate quote for that artwork!

The artwork is awesome though, just awesome.

Yeah, the art is great. Vader looks coool!

Who’s the “Gal” that didn’t make the cover?
And, yeah, Thanos? Even if they were talkin’ all media, not just films, I still can’t see him making the list.
And Robert Patrick over Arnold?
I’m callin’ shenanigans.
It is a cool looking cover though.

If they’re taking all of film history into account (rather than just the last few decades as the cover implies), my guess would be the Wicked Witch of the West.

Ooh, good call!

It’s Nurse Ratched.

That works too.

Does the average person trust a machine to do the driving? How hacker proof are these driverless cars? Ordinary cars with wireless connections have already been hacked into.

I guess it depends when the technology will be reliable enough.

Were both exchanging posts on devices that are wide open to hacking and yet we still bought them.

Someone hacking my cell phone isn’t nearly as scary as someone hacking my car.
I don’t keep anything important in my phone. I’m in the car.
