Is Romero’s Dawn of the Dead completely out of print? I was thinking about selling my DVD for a blu-ray, but not only does it seem like there’s no blu-ray that matches the DVD, it doesn’t even seem like the blu-ray’s available?

I recently found a Bluray copy that has all of the releases from the DVD boxset.
This is a European set and very much outta print. I was VERY lucky to find a brand-new copy at a dirt-low price. I chalk it up to my life as a Romero devotee.

Venom (2018) - …What a cool and new idea

wat. 1988 is hardly recent.
I guess I know what you mean though.

Yeah I mean in terms of superhero movies.

Yeah, I was just being… I dunno… Kinda dickish I guess. 😉
Your review sounds like what I was afraid (and quite certain) that this movie would be. What a waste!

JEDIT- Gross! What’s up with the huge emoticons??

If there is one scene in the first SW that doesn’t make any sense it’s when Han and Chewie chase after the stormtroopers only to meet a dead end when in the Death Star.

Think about it. The stormtroopers outnumber Han and Chewie 5 or 6 to 2, yet they run away like scared little children and only fight back when they’re cornered.

“They let us go. It’s the only explanation for the ease of our escape… They’re tracking us.”

Seems like I gotta point this out often, but the Empire wasn’t trying to kill our heroes on the Death Star. If Han hadn’t run away, he coulda’ killed all of those guys! But, of course, he didn’t know that at the time. Han went charging at them because he “certainly has a lot of courage” and it gave the rest a chance to escape.

^You missed one.

No.

Oddly enough, no matter what anyone says about it, the movie still exists.

hence the word trilogy.

Actually, you just said you watched those movies. No mention of “series” or “saga” or even “trilogy”.

I didn’t say it in my post, but the series is frequently referred to as the “Indiana Jones Trilogy.”

I’m just saying that it makes any criticism of “missing one” even more wrong.

I’m fine with her building herself. That fits in the GFFA (to me). I don’t have an issue with a kid building a droid either. That also fits in the GFFA. My issue with a kid building a droid in Phantom was it was that kid and that droid. More than completely unnecessary, it was possibly the worst case of universe-shrinking Lucas ever inflicted upon the franchise. Terrible idea.

Totally agree.
My problem with the Solo robot is that the characterization they’ve described seems way too easy to botch. That type usually is. Hoping for the best though.
