That certain things in the films don’t make sense because the EU says they don’t.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982) - Besides some questionable elements (including one of the worst romances I have ever seen on film), this is a delightfully twisted and unsettling tale. Wouldn’t call it one of the best ever horror films by any means, but it has a couple sequences that I’d put pretty high up there. B-
Couldn’t agree more.
It’s a misunderstood, underrated and overlooked movie. A seasonal watch for me every October.
(have long had plans to edit the “”"“romance”""" out)
One of the more glaring errors in A New Hope was pilot Wedge being played by two different actors
Nah. The first guy isn’t called by name in the film and there’s no reason to believe he isn’t just another pilot.
I would like to hear a different voice dubbed for him though.
Nice! I can’t believe how horrible the Blurays are.
I’ve probably said this before, but I’d love to see a movie like Clerks set in the SW galaxy.
Just a couple average Joe’s at work. No battles. No space travels. Single setting. Witty dialog.
Also, oojason, that OddBall/ObiWan pic is just fantastic!
C-3PO spouting hacky zingers in the droid factory and subsequent battle in AOTC. Nothing else even comes close.
I haven’t sen the PT in over a decade, but I’d say this is the obvious winning answer.
I love 3PO, which makes it even worse. Every single line he says once they get to the factory is just terrible. It’s no longer as horrific as some of the useless movement in the prequels or Rogue One, however I’d positioned the Endor protect generator stuff in a listing of worst sequences in all of celebrity Wars. It’s genuinely the maximum unwatchable a part of the OT (OOT this is).
I’ve read this post three time trying to make some sense out of it.
I have very little idea what you’re trying to say, but the robot-head-swap is indeed the worst of Star Wars.
Sometimes I feel that way too. Sometimes I don’t.
Sometimes you feel like mfm. Sometimes you don’t.
…originaltrilogy.com’s got mfm… TFN doesn’t?
JEDIT: I’m sorry if that’s in bad taste. I just got that stupid jingle stuck in my head suddenly.
If that’s true, it’s just another reason I’m glad I’m here and not there.
I’ll take MFM at his most misanthropic than no MFM at all.
I’ve got a few doodles I drew when I was bored in lectures over the past year or so. You might recognize the first one.
Spock
A few days ago I started watching the original show again, and found my original doodle looked a bit more like an older Spock. I can’t quite figure out how to draw Kirk.
New Spock with Kirk
Very cool to find out that your avatar is your own work.
Makes me feel like a chump… I should get back to work.
*Ray now nervously awaits the expected non-response from someone he admires…Thanks, and good luck on yours. And if you mean to say I’m the someone who’s admired, haha, I appreciate the sentiment, but I’m not worthy of admiration, really.
You’re the one. And you’re very worthy, my friend.
JEDIT- I’m usually embarrassed by having the first comment on a new page, but I’d proudly state this anywhere, anytime.
TOS has the best tone/feel of all the Trek series’, but I’m not keen on the Technicolor sets/costumes, the episodic storytelling
I’m still catching up on about 6 months of this place, but, my friend,
I. Just. Can’t. Even…
TOS has the best tone/feel of all the Trek series’, but I’m not keen on the Technicolor sets/costumes, the episodic storytelling, or the steadfast focus on Kirk/Spock/McCoy. TNG & especially DS9 did better jobs utilizing and developing their characters.
The Kirk/Spock/McCoy dynamic is the show!
I love 'em, but it would’ve been nice if there’d been some Scotty/Sulu/Uhura/etc.-centric episodes in the mix.
Oh. Yes. Hell yes.
You’re my friend again. 😉

Gotta have some kinda “decryption key”. (?)
Can ya try again?
Judging by the size and placement of that mushroom, she’s still Bowser where it counts.
So sayeth the Akbar…
ALLOL! Sorry I’m so late to this.
Another thing:
I dig it.
Was late getting to the Evil Dead. Watched the 4k bluray tonight.
Drinking Redemption rye whiskey & Miller High Life beer tonight.
And it’s lovely.
Good luck!
I’ll probably be watching horror films through all of my life.
FTFM
Back in my late teens, when I was deep in my religious fundie phase, I tried giving up horror.
Thankfully, it didn’t take.
I loved horror during my religious phase (0-22ish) and listened to lots of Blaster the Rocketman, a horror themed christian band. (Yes, that works together and Yes, I still listen to and love them.)
JEDIT- This is still one of my favorite songs of all time, and it should be one of yours too!
Frankenstein’s Monster Wants a Wife
I love that album and it’s cover!!
The worst has to be the robot head swap in AOTC.
It makes no sense. Does the head control the body or does the body control the head?
And every line from 3PO is an absolute groaner for the rest of the entire film.
I’ll probably be watching horror films through all of my life.

^ 2-1B’s mouth always reminded me of a vintage drive in movie speaker
It’s one of these (not the exact model)
I hate the term “guilty pleasure,” if I like a movie, I like it.
Same here. I don’t feel guilty about any of the things I like.
Watched a ton of Hammer Horror in the past week. The best of what I saw was The Curse of Frankenstein. The worst, The Mummy’s Shroud, which I napped through for a good ten minutes. Frankenstein Created Woman was surprisingly not terrible, in fact I enjoyed it a lot.
I fully support these statements.
The Curse of Frankenstein is great!
“Perhaps you’d better start from the beginning…”
^ Just about my favorite movie.
^ That’s great!
Having a look back through The Art Of The Empire Strikes Back book. It mentioned that medical droid 2-1B has a human brain. Freaky.
A robot with a human brain and a vintage microphone for a mouth. A strange creature indeed.
If you don’t like my would you rather then maybe you should have put no werewolf would you rathers in your original post.
ALLOL.
