So, is this guy the next "Angry Video Game Nerd"?

No. This guy is actually intelligent and delivers wonderful critique while the Angry Video Game Nerd just screams cruse words at television screens between corny skits.

Ray_Afraid had a really stupendous idea for a new opening with Luke on Degobah building his sabre. If that’s possible that would be a killer way to open the film.

Enthusiastically agree.

I’m actually really digging that idea. The lightsaber building scene is also a great way to introduce the “new” Luke.

Nice to hear that some of you like my Opening idea.

Didn’t I read that Adywan is going to be shooting live action troops to the Endor battle to replace the ewok stuff? I can’t remember where I saw that, can anyone confirm?

This is because what we refer to as the "1981 crawl" was actually made before the Empire crawl (or at the same time), and the Empire crawl (and every one after that) was made to match it.  The A New Hope crawl just didn't get released until the post-Empire theatrical re-release in 1981.

ooh, ok. Thanks for the info!

But it does look kinda cool. And a lot different than the one in ANH.

I guess it's subjective. I think it looks lame and fake.

Also, it doesn't look that different than the one in ANH. There's no way you could put this thing in a film and not have people saying "looks like a lame Death Star."

Maybe you were being sarcastic?

I'm pretty sure all of the movies from that point on match the 1981 incorrect timing. Hooray for continuity, boo for it being the wrong one!

hmm.. I just can't see why that would be... Like I said, I understand that ANH was added later and was placed at the wrong timing, but why would the other two which always had the titles at the beginning have them at the wrong times?

As for what I'm most looking forward to, it would have to be the part between the opening crawl and the end credits. Can't wait to see what Ady's done there.
I'm sure that would be most people's most anticipated bit, lol.
Not me! My favorite part is when the EPISODE V starts at the original music cue! ;-)

Does the title on Empire not appear at the correct cue? I know it had to be changed for ANH because the title was added years later, but why would it be off for ESB? Very interesting...

Does anyone else find it slightly sycophantic of people that Ady can't so much as sniff on Facebook without there being a newsflash on the forums about it straight after? :-p

Maybe a bit, but c'mon, it's nice!

I don't think he will, because he has talked about them so much in the prequel reviews, but you never know.  Plinkett likes Star Trek (2009) though, so if you haven't seen that review, give it a go. :-)

I've considered watching the Star Trek review, but I haven't seen the film and I have zero interest in it. I've watched the first couple Trek films and hated them and I've seen some episodes of the various TV series over the years and hated all of that too. It's probably best if I just stay away from the Trek.

Anybody know if he has plans to do more Star Wars reviews? The story line with the kidnapped woman is unresolved so I would guess yes? I'd like to see him do the OT as well. Would be interesting to hear him review movies he likes.

Just bringing this back up before it gets lost. Any thoughts?
