There’s not enough makeup in the world to make Fisher look human anymore.

I don’t understand why she would want to be in this film.

That is not someone who belongs on the big screen.

Stick to watching porn if you only want to see people who fit your narrow definition of beauty featured on the big screen.

Are you thirteen years old?

This.

As for Carrie not looking like she's in her 20s anymore; well, what did you expect? Her appearance changes dramatically even from Star Wars to Jedi.

I highly doubt that they will be going for "beautiful princess Leia" at this point. Rather, if they take the EU into account, this is a woman who has been at war, with the galaxy and with her own government, for thirty odd years. She's had three children with a man who was not known for his stable, fatherly influence, and has undergone the rigors of becoming a Jedi, something that loses many people their limbs, and often their lives. The face that has seen all that would be a tad careworn to say the least.

I agree that they don't need Harrison, unless his character changes as entirely as Leia's should. I don't want to see the same characters doing the same things. They are beyond that at this point.

And this.

Leia aging gracefully into a lovely old lady doesn't fit the character at all. I don't want a film full of supermodels. I want a film full of real characters.

Adywan, there is something that has been bothering me about the red lights...

R2's light should not be that bright. It's so bright that it looks rotoscoped, and not at all like it's really supposed to have been there.

I agree. But I wonder, could it be another case of the pics being over saturated  and not reflecting the true colors of the video?

Reasoning Behind Changes from Release to Release

OH! No, no I didn't actually mean that you are mentally challenged! After reading my comment, I can see how it seemed targeted at you, but I really wasn't trying to put anyone down... except for GL, maybe...

I just meant that many of the changes made have been along the lines of "Alert my star destroyer that I'm about to enter my shuttle on Cloud City and fly to said star destroyer and then exit my shuttle once I've landed on the previously mentioned star destroyer." This is slightly along those lines, but as I said, it could actually add to the scene.

One change that could have been made that would have made sense to me would be at the end of the trash compactor scene. When they have opened the door and are getting ready to leave, suddenly there is this klaxon and Chewie loses it inexplicably and runs away from the door. Then Han shoots at the garbage again for no reason.

In the script, Chewie is afraid of a tentacle from the Dia Nogu, which is worming its way through the hatch. Han then shoots the tentacle.

As it stands now, Chewie is being afraid for no reason, Han is being recklessly noisy for no reason, and the scene feels a little pointless.

I'm actually surprised GL hasn't already made that change as he seems hell bent on insuring that even the most mentally challenged can follow what was already obviously happening.

Seriously though (actually, I was already being quite serious) it's not a terrible idea for a small SE change.

Also, when the Death Star is being attacked, nobody on it is saying "hey, what's going on here?  What are they trying to do?  They can't hurt us with such a small number of small fighters?  Have they found some hidden weakness that we don't know about?  What are these guys up to?"

Sure they are. An officer even tries to tell Tarkin that they've "studied their attack patter and there IS a danger..." but Tarkin ain't havin' it.

Maybe he's gotten soo many parking tickets, that the police finally put boots on all the landing legs.

I'm going with that. From now on, that's canon to me. I imagine in that new pic, he's yelling to the traffic cop "Wait! I still gots 2 minutes on the meter!"

But before, I've just figured it was something like what Silverwook pointed out.

Has anyone ever unearthed the Kurtz Jedi script? Or at least a more in depth treatment that just one sentence (Han rescued, dies in attack on Imperial base, Leia becomes Queen, Luke wonders off)?

Queen of what? In the first film she was the princess of a planet that was destroyed and was mostly using the "princess" thing as a ruse to cover the fact that she was a leader of the Rebel military on a secret mission. it's not like she was princess of the galaxy..

Why did the rebels destroy the AT-At walker on Hoth in episode 5???
Time

I've always felt that the "that armor's too strong for blasters!" and then the explosion creates a continuity error and no EU explanation has really satisfied me. I know Ady plans to make it apparent that the 'neck' section has been damaged as is vulnerable, and that's better than the way it is now, but still it's destruction leads to other problems: If the At-At has exploded, there's no reason for the rebel troops to leave the relative safety of their trench only to be gunned down by the other approaching walkers.

I'd really like to see an edit with the At-At explosion cut out. I'd rather the scene play out with the walker tripping and going down, then cut to "Wow! That Got Him!" and "I see ya (whoever he says) nice work!" then cut to he rebel troops in the trench and "C'mon!" as they scramble out into the battle field to take on the Imperial troops jumping out of the downed At-At.

Since it's not subtitled, I never knew what he said.  All I understood was "Master, bargain blah blah blah. He's no Jedi."  I thought it was an attempt at an alien language with lots of recognizable words.  Shows what I know.

Same here! Are you sure that's what he's sayin' Bingo? If so... What was the original idea there? That Jedi were quick to lop off heads if things didn't go their way?
