the whole reason I want him back is because I feel he genuinely deserves another shot at this role.

Friends, try for a moment to envision the inevitable scene that will take place (if this rumor is true) involving a spectral Hayden Christensen speaking to (or about) Adam Driver, saying something along the lines of "don't go down that path I traveled all those years ago." Are you recoiling in horror? Good. That is the correct response.

I don't really see how this scene could be a bad thing. If the writing is good enough any bad idea can be made good.

Well, my hope is that they will try to make good ideas great instead of trying to make bad ideas good...

It's not really a bad idea to begin with. If Luke were to tell Kylo Ren about the dangers of the Darkside you people would have no problem with it. But because one strand from the prequels would be in the ST then suddenly the idea is shit. Let me ask...who would know most about how toxic the Darkside is? Anakin of course seeing as how he was engulfed in it for decades. I don't see any reasoning for that being a bad idea other than "its bad because prequels"

It's bad because special edition.
And because prequels.
And because bad actor.
And, most of all, because lame.

American Werewolf in London? Really?

What's wrong with An American Werewolf in London?

Beats me, I've never seen it. But why would you think of that before Animal House or Blues Brothers? Or even Three Amigos or Coming to America?

I'd have to toss a coin to decide if I like AAWIL or Blues Brothers more.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

I think my very first post here was about removing the "Come on!" scene or adding troops jumping out of the AT-AT. As it stands in the film, it seems like one guy on a suicide mission. Especially since the speeders double back and destroy the AT-AT... even though the armor is "too strong for blasters"...

Ady's fixed the destruction so that the speeders seem to blast a damaged spot on the neck, which is a neat fix, but seeing troops repel out of the AT-AT and engage the rebel troops on the ground will always be a dream of mine. I can hardly even imagine how it could be done though... seems like it would be expensive too.

I wonder if Mike Verta's restoration has anything to do with this. I hope so!

Those comments are aggravating.
"I don't know how the old versions will hold up..."
I really don't understand people who think this way about things. As if everything has to be new, or contain something new to be relevant or even good.
And the comments about the 2004 bonus discs... How can anyone watch those and think they look ok? Are people really so stupid that they believe that's as good as a film from the 70's/80's can look? I really don't understand that.

First we get our official announcement of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 (though 2.9 has a better ringing bell to me), and here I was expecting to be excited for just a Dream Drop Distance remake . But then we get a new game that was teased yet very surprising towards its availability to play. And to top it off, it stars my favourite Kingdom Hearts character ever, Aqua! AND, SHE IS IN UNREAL ENGINE HD, making her more beautiful than ever before

http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/kingdomhearts/images/7/79/KH_2.8_3.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150915114033&path-prefix=fr

If that weren't enough, my beautiful wife Shailene Woodley just got more beautiful (if that were even possible) in two senses. per this trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vzn4MJdaabw

of The Divergent Series Allegiant. Not only does the movie look very beautiful in its cinematography, construction, execution and acting, but Shailene's new hair style and dress shown at the end of the railer blew me away just as much or more than what 2.8 gave me (seriously, never before have I not have had as much jaw dropping omgs, and yes not even from Kingdom Hearts III).

Overall, a great way from God for cheering me up when I had just went through such a depressing stressful time. My two crushes here also have something in common that concerns another favourite of mine, but I'll leave you guys to figure it out Hobey Ho, lets go!

I can think of several interpretations for what you mean. Which one are you going for?

Just voicing my disgust at the article linked to.

So... the guy with the fetus avatar opts out of viewing avatars...?
Interesting...

Ah, well, in this link, originally posted by Praetorian, the guy with the fetus avatar says "many people are like myself who opted to turn off signatures and avatars". So, he or she is trying to make some sort of statement with their avatar, yet they don't wanna see any others, or even be subjected to their own. I just find that odd.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD
Took me awhile to get around to seeing this, but I knew I was gonna love it. I love MAD MAX and ROAD WARRIOR and all the reviewers I admire said they loved it.
I didn't love it. I'm not even sure I liked it...
The cars were very cool, the stunts were wild, the film had a great look to it...
But, even with all it's action, the film was just terribly boring.
I didn't give a crap about any of the characters and found them all to be dull as can be. Especially Max, whom you'd think would have a bit of charisma about him. But, none.

...I'd be ok with Christianson as long as they did some voice coaching and make-up to get him looking and sounding more like Shaw at the end of Jedi.

They'd have to explain why he sounded like an American brat in the PT and an English gentleman at the end of Jedi...

They could also explain why he sounded like an American man before he took the mask off...

Because.. robot voice? I guess?
I know that doesn't really add up either, but I find it easier to buy than Hayden's voice being either the robot or the old man.

Putting anything PT into the ST would be a grave mistake.
But I'm sure that won't stop 'em.

...Leia doesn't really do much in the original (besides ensure the plans get to the rebels) so it's not surprising he uses a more active Leia from Empire in the SW side.

Leia's image in SW is one of the most iconic in pop culture! And she gets plenty of action in during the escape from the Death Star. I mean, someone had to save their skins!
