Well average fans only notice the red Vader eyes because you can actually see Prowse’s eyes through them in a few spots. As long as that’s fixed it shouldn’t be an issue. Most of the time the red lenses are pretty subtle.

Its in the works…:}

Yeah, Ady said he can now hide Prowse’s eyes AND keep the lenses red. Hooray!

Different voice tone, and Mask, and Chest plate for that matter… Only thing worth keeping consistent is the tint of Vader’s eyes. Almost impossible to fix the other stuff…

But why try to “fix” any of it? So his suit changes between films. It doesn’t break continuity for Vader to get upgrades.

I think it’s okay to manipulate some aspects of the performance to make the jump from shouty enforcer Vader to no-nonsense leader Vader less jarring and make the earlier iteration of the costume more in line with all the others as long as it’s subtle. You can still have the suit evolve without leaving the older versions looking unfinished in relation to the later ones. This is a special edition not a preservation of every aspect of the original film.

I may add this is the ESB:R thread and not the ANH:R thread so maybe the conversation should shift to there.

I agree all the way about the performance, but I just don’t think the differences in the later suits make the older ones look unfinished. I like ANH Vader having red eyes and a matte finish.

What 'a Star Wars Story' / anthology / spinoff film would you like to see?

…Take the fact that most stormtroopers are human in The Force Awakens. Did the clones expire after a while?

The troops in the OT are human too. They all have different voices and heights.
I dunno what happened to the clones. I’m not into the PT or EU.

OH and to stay to target, I’d rather see spin-off films about new characters living in the Star Wars galaxy. Stories that happen during the OT, but don’t feature characters that we know or even connect to the other films. Smaller films and smaller stories. No galaxy saving, no major victories for the Empire or Rebellion. Just interesting stories about life in that world.

Vader has a different costume in each film, so there’s no reason to try to tie them together.

And that shot of Tarkin is one of my favorites in the trilogy! I’d rather have it than the DS about to fire. It’s already shown to be right down to the wire with the countdown over and guys flippin’ switches and all.
If it can only be one or the other, I’d rather have the iconic (yes, iconic!) shot of the films main villain moments before his demise than another reinforcement of urgency that the audience already feels plenty of.

And everything else that everyone is basing their opinions on at this point...

But there's so little to go on saying you have an "opinion" is half baked at best. We don't even know what the plot of the film is. We have little tid bits but nothing more.

Still, there's nothin' wrong with saying "I like/don't like what I've seen and know so far".

Clone Wars - Ahsoka Tano: White SABER in Rebels Season 2:? Suggestions and thoughts?
Time

Why not?
All of the "bad guys" havin' to have "evil" red sabers is lame and cliche.
Vader has a red one in the OT, but I never thought it was because he was a bad guy or that the blue or green blades meant anything.
Actually, I think Vader would look cool with a blue one and Luke having a red one in Jedi would be awesome. Not because the color denotes anything, I'd just like it visually.
But, that ain't what this thread's about..
