I mean, I didn’t lose respect for Jeff Bridges when he starred in the remake of True Grit, because it was superior to the original film adaptation (and really anything else starring John Wayne, for that matter). The implied insult of John Wayne sucked your credibility straight out of you in my opinion.
Agreed.
I do prefer the Bridges TG to the Wayne TG, but neither is as good as The Quite Man or a good handful of other films with John Wayne in.
And I’m gonna go ahead and guess that Dek hasn’t watched enough John Wayne films to be able to make that statement anyway.
But that’s alright. he’s only young.
So they’re really making a movie about a man in his twenties smuggling drugs, hangin’ at dives and runin’ from the law with his bigfoot sidekick?
I still doubt we end up with a film about the young Han I’ve always envisioned.

Better then anything that could ever had come up with!
Wut?
The video games I own are:
Zelda 4 pack for Gamecube (1, 2, OOT, MM)
LOZ- Twilight Princess for Wii
LOZ- Skyward Sword for Wii
Katamari Damacy for PS2
Evil Dead- Hail to the King for PS1
I don’t own any systems right now though.
Cool. I knew you wouldn’t have done it without reason.
Very cool! I kinda prefer that one light to not be working though. Fits the Falcon.
Hey just wondering if there’s any reason to fix the light that’s out in the original.
Continuity?
I know it’s a small thing, so I hate to keep posting about it, but I’m just very curious about why that was changed.
I think he learned that lying is a great way to conceal spoilers.
And why not?
I said it in the other thread, but I’ll say it here to.
The beach location looks great. What’s wrong with it?
The beach location looks great to me. What’s the problem?
Frink was making a TFA joke, but I really prefer the US theatrical ending. The scenes in S-Mart bookend the film nicely.
Does anyone know from what film this particular gif
hails?
Beat me to it. I love that little film.

Did it happen in TFA? Then it was bad.Ok this is unrelated but who is the chick in your avatar?
I forget her last name but her first name was “The Velvet Underground and”.
ALLOL!
The Big Lebowski (1998): 9/10
Really great. I loved the direction, the acting, the story and the characters.
One of my favorite movies. Gets better every time ya watch it.
Also, Yeah, Evil Dead 2 and Shaun of the Dead are also great. More of my favorites.
I don’t care much for Army of Darkness (loved it when I was a teenager, but find it painful now), but Evil Dead is one of my favorite horror films (one of my absolute favorite films flat-out) and Evil Dead 2 is one of my favorite horror comedies.I haven’t seen the first Evil Dead yet, it’s just the one that appealed the least to me. I’ll probably get around to watching it soon. Also, why do you find Army of Darkness painful?
The comedy is stupid. The jokes are lame. The one liners wore out their welcome 15 years ago. It’s also pretty boring.
Evil Dead 2 remains funny and exciting. It’s not at childish as AOD.
And the original Evil Dead is a different beast altogether.
So are we SURE that Attack of the Clones was a real film and not just a collective hallucination we all share?
You know, thinking back on it, I’m pretty sure AOTC was the first film I saw that disappointed me.
It was Ghostbusters 2 for me.

I think Blade Runner is properly regarded. It’s got a complex and adult script, odd and compelling characters (nobody is really likeable as such but they are interesting). The acting is top drawer throughout and then comes the environment which is astonishing.
I agree, except for the acting being tops. Larry (Darryl and Darryl’s brother) has such poor line delivery that it makes me cringe every time. Almost every line he speaks.
Charlie don’t surf…Vader only surfs lava badly.
Clash reference for the win!
Why are so many new members acting like they’ve been here for years and own the place?
And why do they act like members who have been here for years haven’t?

I have recently talked to Jay and apparently he thinks that bullying and offensive insults are okay. So sad to say it seems like Frinks is gonna stay on here(sigh)
But I do imagine that we will see R2-D2 having the stolen plans uploaded to his memory.
In fact this is what Leia does in the opening scene of ANH. Leia has the plan when the movie begins, she uploads them into R2 after having recording her message to Ben.
Jokes aside, I do think we’ll see the plans handed off to Leia at the end. We won’t see her, but the audience will know who it is.
i was told by somebody Jyn Erso is a double agent for the empire

New Members Nobody Likes vs. Old Members Everybody Loves is always an enjoyable romp, even if the ending is predictable after all these years.
I’ve said it before, and I’m buzzed enough to say it again…
This place was way better before all these PT fans showed up.
