I know. I was just offering Tyrph some support. š

I think a lot of folks donāt like the OT aliens. Iāve had to defend the characters in the bar in Star Wars many times, even on this site. People think they look fake and the designs are lame. The success of their execution is debatable but the designs are great.
Iād like to see more OT aliens in the ST. New stuff is cool and all, but lets have some connection here. One Rodian or Twiālek in Mazās Castle would have helped a lot.
Well, we did get both Nien Nunb and Ackbar at the Resistance Base.
And now we have a wampa with a robot mouth.
I donāt mind different Jedi having different swordplay styles. I do mind the rigid Form I, Form II, etc. brouhaha, though, and the Jedi-centric portrayal of it all.
If it makes you feel better a decent percentage of Force sensitives make minor tweaks to their specialized form and even use multiple forms but the beings who do this are adept-master Force Wielders.
And if that doesnāt work for ya, just remember that this isnāt real and it can work however you want it to! Fun!
JEDIT: That could be construed as a jab, but itās not.
Iāve been here six years and yhwx has 3x as many posts as meā¦
EDIT- Checked again. Not that many. But many.
The Empire is made up exclusively of white male humans. The Rebellion is made up of multi-racial human males and females and all kinds of aliens. You can cite any EU book or whatever to show that this isnāt true, but in the films itās a device clearly used for symbolism. Thereās nothing in the films to point to the Emperor being anything other than a white human male.
ā¦Except for when heās a female human with monkey eyes. But thatās another story.
I was talking to Haseo. He didnāt think a alien could rule humans.
He didnāt say that. He said that since the Empire is made exclusively of humans, that it stands to reason that the Emperor is human too. It plays into the Nazi symbolism.
Ha!
Jump scares suck. Theyāre the most unimaginative and cheap scares ever. They can hardly even be called scares, theyāre just surprises.
But they have their place. Youāre right, itās a surprise, not a scare, but when used right, they can get your heart pumpinā and that can get your fear/excitement levels rising. Itās over used and misused, for sure, but I love a well made seat jumper.
The Shoretrooper (hate the name) looks more āStar Warsā than anything since ROTJ. (Maybe even since ESB?) I love it.
I just had a thought.
Is it just me, or does Luke contribute very little to the battle of Endor after he gets captured? Like, I canāt imagine the battle going too differently regardless of what happened between him, Vader, and the Emperor.
Heās important to the set up for the fight (Iād hardly see shuttle Tydirium getting through without him), yes, but the Death star II would have been destroyed after he got captured no matter what, it seems.
So what? Why should Luke have to be involved in everything?
So would you like it better if they kept the force lightning unique to the emporer but all siths had a power unique to them? Like maybe Darth Maul could shoot fire outta his hands. Dooku could conjure water from the air and dirt and splash it in peoples faces. Or should all Siths be powerless and only the Emporer should have it cause heās so evil.
Thatās Avatar, not Star Wars.
(Not the dumb movie about the blue girl. The dumb cartoon about the bald boy.)
For the record, Possessed, I loved it. : )
More quality yhwx comments. Yay.
And I guess we should all do the same so that thereās no way you could miss a joke.
But, I aināt gonna.
I guess Iām not the only oneā¦
Another of your quality posts! THANK YOU!

Sure, Alice didnāt invent these things even if heās the one who first popularized it.
But, Iām sure Manson wouldnāt be what he is without Cooper, heās very vocal about the influence.
I just donāt think thereās enough similarities in the music to make a hard line comparison. Just because one likes Cooper doesnāt at all mean theyād like Manson and vice versa.
Hell no, Iām not waiting for that to fully load.
Sounds like you need a Macā¦
Does nothing to help.
Heās gettinā it!
You have your self a follower, sir.
Thatās a comparison Iāve never understood. They both do the make-up theatrical goth thing, but their sound and feel are totally different.
(I prefer Cooper, but Mansons got a few good tunes)
I guess itās a better comparison than all the crap that gets suggested to me via the Smiths thoughā¦
Yeah, I follow Astounding and actually saw the DAM project on Tumblr before I saw it here!
Hereās me by the way.
