Am I the only one who thinks this looks more like Christopher Lee?

I’m gonna say that you probably are. I think it looks more like an older Michael Fassbender.

I’m pretty impressed by the Tarkin in R1. I fully expected to be pulled out of the moment by the CGI or the body language or the voice. So much could have gone wrong. But I bought it! Not as Peter Cushing, but as the character of Tarkin.

There’s a very close to zero percent chance we’ll ever see an alternate cut of RO.

Maybe not official, but there will be a rayedit shortly after the BD release. Nothing major, just chopping out a few lines of dialog and the super dumb pignose/assmouth cameo. (and maybe using a few shots from the trailers?)

I still can’t believe there are now 4 Star Wars films that I like. I know a bunch of ya liked TFA, so there’s been over a year for you to get used to that feeling, but it’s still a shocker for me!

RLM also glossed over most of TFA’s most controversial faults and ignored things they complained about endlessly in their Ep. I - III reviews, so I don’t really hold what they have to say in high regard.

Yep… but they are funny.

(and I love that now they don’t like the second Disney Wars - and are less and less praising TFA - almost everybody here goes “they can go to hell these RLM guys, they don’t know jack about SW😃)

I can only think of about 3 people here who now bash RLM because they don’t like the new Star Wars. That’s hardly everybody here.
I liked R1 very much and I still love RLM.
There are a couple people here who seem to worship TFA on a TFN level though.

Tired of people pretending to be right just because their opinion is expressed with emphasis, strenght and wit; hardly a case to justify anything.

Tired of people being unable to accept someones differing opinions and pretending there is a right or wrong way to feel about such a subjective subject.

Well you tell me: If we are talking about a movie that takes place just before the events of ANH, should be shocked and appalled if the movie has storm troopers, Star Destroyers, Tie Fighers, X-wings and the like? Shouldn’t such a movies’ universe resemble the universe of ANH?

They werw saying that all the movie had to offer was nostalgia.

Ridiculous.

Well thats what i got outof thier review. maybe i read them wrong. dont care.

I dunno where to put this. But I’m drunk so it, and probably more tonight, will go here.

The Huntingtons- 1985
It’s only 2 min.s long! C’mon!

If you love Back To The Future, watch this.
If you love good rock n’ roll, watch this.
If you love both, bask in the glory.

I really loved this band in the late 90’s. early 00’s. The sound clips are in the original song. The guy who made this video deserves free beers.

Check em out man… Fun fun fun!

My personal "best of’ is 11 volumes and 149 songs.
I have a 30 song sampler ready to go. Lemme know if ya want a link!

ALSO, how do you know that song?? It’s a great one and they still play it often, but it’s odd that ya know that one and not the more popular Gay Bar or High Voltage with Jack White.

Seeing how hands on Vader is in Rogue One the death of Captain Antilles looks a bit hokey. I don’t know if it could be done but if instead of just crushing his neck and throwing him against a wall it might be better if he let go of him and crushed his throat in mid air using the Force. This would make Motti seem a bit ignorant to ruffle the Sith seeing what we would then know was possible. Hopefully the arm of the Vader suit and someone dressed in the Captain’s clobber would be enough to pull off the trick.

I’d much rather see more of SW Vader than R1 Vader. Lifting a guy off the ground by his throat and breaking his neck one handed is much more intimidating, brutal and real than doing the same thing from a distance using magic.
