I’m pretty impressed by the Tarkin in R1. I fully expected to be pulled out of the moment by the CGI or the body language or the voice. So much could have gone wrong. But I bought it! Not as Peter Cushing, but as the character of Tarkin.

Maybe not official, but there will be a rayedit shortly after the BD release. Nothing major, just chopping out a few lines of dialog and the super dumb pignose/assmouth cameo. (and maybe using a few shots from the trailers?)

I still can’t believe there are now 4 Star Wars films that I like. I know a bunch of ya liked TFA, so there’s been over a year for you to get used to that feeling, but it’s still a shocker for me!

I can only think of about 3 people here who now bash RLM because they don’t like the new Star Wars. That’s hardly everybody here.
I liked R1 very much and I still love RLM.
There are a couple people here who seem to worship TFA on a TFN level though.

Plan 9 is infinitely more enjoyable than ROTS.

I’m actually gonna go see this a second time. I was happy with it when I left the theater yesterday and I like it more and more as I think about it today.

Seeing how hands on Vader is in Rogue One the death of Captain Antilles looks a bit hokey. I don’t know if it could be done but if instead of just crushing his neck and throwing him against a wall it might be better if he let go of him and crushed his throat in mid air using the Force. This would make Motti seem a bit ignorant to ruffle the Sith seeing what we would then know was possible. Hopefully the arm of the Vader suit and someone dressed in the Captain’s clobber would be enough to pull off the trick.

I’d much rather see more of SW Vader than R1 Vader. Lifting a guy off the ground by his throat and breaking his neck one handed is much more intimidating, brutal and real than doing the same thing from a distance using magic.

Alien: Covenant already looks to have all of Prometheus’ problems. Why are all these scientist/explorers going into the unknown without protective suits? The trailer shows that they get infected by something bad through their unprotected ears and then cuts to people saying “we have no idea what’s out there.” Stupid.
