Hey, Just wonderin’ if maybe the thread title should be updated to reflect the 2.7 version instead of the 2.5? It seems like there’s some confusion as to what the current version is and, if I recall correctly, even thought the 2.6 and 2.7 updates were done by Towne32, it’s endorsed and approved by you. Harmy. They were terrible films and that was very disappointing, but if the disappointment over some stupid movies caused you trauma, you gots problems.

Now Disney wants to make a film a year, based on a franchise (everybody admits) that was running out of steam by the the third installment.

I dunno who this movie reviewer whose opinion you cling so blindly to is, but this person is wrong. Many people consider ROTJ the weakest of the OT, but few thought the franchise was near “out of steam” after it’s release. When the PT was officially announced, you could hardly find anybody with even a slight concern that it might not turn out great.

Finally, at least Lucas ruined franchises he created… That why I think Lucas selling the franchise to Disney might be one of the worst thing he has ever done, behind the SE of course.

The creator ruining their own art doesn’t make the destruction any better than if if was done by a random vandal.

The Jyn head on that Asian poster is WAY better than the one being use on the covers!
The only cover I remotely like is the steel book.

No I’m not. From what I read about the specs the switch can’t even hold a candle to consoles released ten years ago. Even if it weren’t about the graphics, Nintendo has only 2-3 major IPs (Mario, Zelda, Pokémon) that are just updated versions of games we played 20 years ago. They are now decades behind the times in terms of online gaming, and I’m not sure how the switch is even that different from the Wii U (other than it uses cartridges instead of discs). This is easily going to flop and bankrupt Nintendo within two years.

Have you not heard about how hard they’re trying to get good 3rd party support? That’s going to make a huge fucking difference.

You’re right about that. Super Mario Galaxy is basically the same thing as Super Mario World, and Breath of the Wild is looking to be basically just a port of Link to the Past.

Memories of movies I watched over a decade ago don’t pop up while I’m watching the OT. The PT doesn’t have a strong enough presence in my life to launch a successful invasion of my mind. I remember TPM fairly well, but the other two are a blur.

And I assumed he was referring to how it felt when firing it, not what it could do.

Maybe both of those things were inferred. I only saw it once. I just remember hating that scene. And when he shoots the guy without looking.

And you’re certainly right about it not being anything like the weakest part of the film. It really has nothing to do with me not being a TFA fan.

I had heared about this the other day and decided to look into, I cringed at what I read. set a few years before the five year mission, and will focus on quote "he lead character - who will be female, and likely either black or Hispanic - will be “on a journey that’s going to teach her how to get along with others in the galaxy”.
