Eating goodies made with it is a much more intense feeling than you get from smoking. I find a smoke to be much more relaxing and eating brownies more of a “trip”.

Now i love that we have the Despecialized Edition, But i wish we had a Harmys Special Edition with the Good things that were added/fixed.You can make a fanedit yourself, which is what I’m doing. Not everyone will agree on which changes are good and which are bad though.
Speaking of which, I agree with most of your list, but why do you think the extended rancor scene is good? It’s repetitive, since you already get to see the same **** going on in the scene with Luke and the guard. The off-camera screams in the original were enough to cue in the audience that something bad happened to people who fall down there. It also built suspense towards what Luke was up against, when that big giant metal door slowly opens and reveals the Rancor. The SE change is a terrible editing mistake.
If I had the talent and know I would attempt it lol. But sadly I do not have any knowledge to do this. Nor do I have the proper equipment or software.
I liked the Raincore scene because it showed what happened to Oola. And I liked seeing that happen. But honestly its on there because its one i loved as a kid, even thought i know its a bit repetitive.
But it still doesn’t show what happened to her anymore than the original edit does. We see her in the pit for a couple of shots that ruin the original flow, but her demise is still off screen. (if ya like it, that’s fine, I’m just sayin’)
Also, it’s Rancor. Not Raincore.
People were dressed as Rey at the 10th Anniversary con? I have many doubts.
What a waste of a villain.
What is he supposed to be anyway? A new kind of cyborg consisting of a droid enhanced by a human lung? Is the lung the force bearer?
He’s a Kaleesh
A what?

I stopped reading right there, as I had literally never heard this word until now.
Lizard man, essentially.
A what?
Huh. I notice that on TBS, but never on METV.
Is that from RotS or one of the animated shows?
That’s ROTS!
Yikes. Nothing in that shot looks real at all.
The original Battlestar Galactica is coming to METV on Super Sci-Fi Saturday Nights!
I am pleased! Why would you want to watch them chopped up to squeeze in more commercials?
I didn’t know that METV did that and I don’t like the show enough to care. It’s joining a great line up of shows. It’s the only block of TV I watch.
Ah orange, it’s King’s day tomorrow in Holland. Everything will be orange, as the our royal family is known as the house of Orange. It is true! They are originally from the town called Orange in France. It’s great!
I went to the Klock Rock Orange festival in 2014. Lot’s of great bands and people.
Fun fun fun!
What a waste of a villain.
Is that from RotS or one of the animated shows? The guy looks too detailed to be from the cartoons, but everything else looks like it is.
Just restoring them in ANH. They were never red in ESB or RotJ.
If we’re all still around in 2021, I know where we can throw the OOT release party…
As long as we don’t invite anyone from Pod Six. 😉
Sealab had such a great theme song.
Ady used THREE winking faces in 2 posts and people still think he’s serious…
Oh my god.
Indeed.
Well whatever. It’s part of his vision. And if they’re not messing with his vision, it will always look like shit.
Good point.
Anybody else wonder if they’re holding out until they can present the SE’s in the same picture quality as the restored OUT? Legacy Edition easily makes the current bluray SE’s look awful.

wut
I think we all just need to stay calm, and trust in Cher.
Good point.
If you don’t think the PT looks good from whatever you’ve see of it (trailers, scenes, ect), you’re certainly not going to be won over by the nonsensical story and annoying charters.
If you think what you’ve sen of the PT looks cool, then maybe you can also stomach all of the stupidity and poor craftsmanship and enjoy some of the visual … blandness? (ok, some shots looked good)
Same goes for Blade Runner. You heard it was no good, but were interested in what you’d seen/heard so watched it anyway and liked it.
Also, Blade Runner is actually a good film, so that’s very different. Even if it isn’t your ‘cup o tea’, you’d be a fool to say it isn’t a well made film.
Meh. If someone told me that haven’t see 'em because “they look awful.”, I’d tell 'em they’ve made the right choice.
My ladyfriend just reminded me that she’s never seen ROTS. She went to see TPM with a boyfriend in highschool, then AOTC with friends, hated both so never watched the 3rd.
But wait! Somebody said they thought they heard John Landis say that he heard somebody say that they thought this might happen sometime!
Is that not enough reason to believe we will get it this year?
All signs point to maybe.
^ Nice. 😉
This is why I’m not even interested in fanedits of the PT. Everything about the story is idiotic nonsense. Nothing to save.
Oh great… more of this…
