Up again after several hours
Up again after several hours
I can't believe I'm the only one who commented on the workprint :-) Your Star Wars workprints were very succesful and this one is ignored? :-)
And one small problem during the training scene (with Yoda on back) - every time there is a cut the colour palette changes a bit. Again, not sure if it's supposed to look this way
There are some weird "color anomalies" on Leia's face during the shot when the hangar doors are closing (around 12:17). Also in the whole sequence the colours look oversaturated, especially R2's blues seem much too blue. I'm really enjoying the rest of the first 15 minutes I've seen so far :-)
That's a VLC bug/feature (depending how you watch at it). It also shows the framerate as 50 fps if you have encoded the video as interlaced
Finally back online after several hours :-)
Interesting tips guys. To be honest I start to think about an Intel NUC :-) They're not passive unfortunately, but they seem to be pretty quiet, so I think if I don't find something better I'll end up with one of them
I could log before 9 AM (CMT+1 timezone) but not for several hours (the whole time I was at work :-) )
The server request ends simply with a timeout
Thanks for the reply.
I'd really like to build one, I like the method "learning by doing" :-) I already have a HTPC but it's getting really old and more and more noisy, so I'm thinking about making a fan-less one.
Could you write some tips about the PSU and other things?
I've been thinking about the J1800 motherboard (http://www.tomshardware.com/news/gigabyte-ga-j1800-d2h-motherboard-celeron,25942.html ) which has integrated a dual core Celeron processor.
The HDDs - I'm thinking about an SSD or a WD Green, but a 2.5" HDD could be better indeed. RAM - no idea which RAM I would use.
And I have absolutely NO idea about the other components :-)
Can I ask what pre-made did you buy if it's not secret?
My offer is still valid :-) Or somebody recommend me a good PAL VHS deck
Does anybody have any experiences with passively cooled (fan-less) PCs? I'm trying to build for myself a HTPC, criteria are
- silence (that's why I want to try passive cooling)
- dimensions (the smaller the better)
- powerful enough for playback of 1080p MKVs
Unfortunately I have no experiences with passive cooling and google isn't very helpful :-) I'd like to hear some tips for the components
I have a bad feeling about this
I can't afford to donate money right now so I donate at least positive thoughts :-)
The deleted scenes are great. Some of the alternate cuts are actually better than what ended up in the movie :-) Except the one with the little girl, it makes Kirk look like a pedophile :-)

Hey Guys here is a sneak peak at what we are doing, and this will be shared! and it is a jam packed BD50.
Well well well ... this looks really great
He doesn't look that bad : https://twitter.com/piersmorgan/status/433063833716813824
Possibilities
1) overheating
2) virus
3) failing power supply
And please, if you plan to get a new PC, stay away from Windows 8.1.

Forgive me if this has already been addressed. Sadly I don't have time to read all 459 pages and a search was not fruitful. Ive tried twice to download V2.5 from a torrent and both times its stuck at 77%. Any idea why this might have happened? Any help would be appreciated.
Also wanted to add that I've just bought a 180p projector and I want this to be the first and last version of Star Wars I watch on it, apart from Ady's marvellous version of course. Thanks for your continued, brilliant work guys!
180p? Worse than youtube ? :-)

Such as...
Such as "What the hell is going on ?", "Why is that retarded cartoon character in a Star Wars movie? " etc.
That sounds good.
That's great :-) And sorry for the off-topic guys
Was? I really hope that's not a cruel joke :-)
Are there still no infos regarding the Clone Wars "bonus episodes"?
