thank u for making my forum have 2 pages
o OK I understand being new person posting a threat, just follow the 2nd post those guys will give you step by step Information,or I my post what I had in My first post but it won't be in the 1st post
The reason way I made a calibration forum is because it made the 2004 DVD have almost correct colors, just about no crushed blacks, no over use of contrast(apart from a few shots). Darth Vaders lightsaber is almost red in alot of shots, lukes green lightsaber in ANH is almost gone(apart from the frist green lightsaber shot) ,plus it just about looks like a film with no color mess ups, etc.Plus all my other films looks great too.

@pat man: Yeah, watching on a calibrated screen is the best thing to do if you want to see how it really looks.
Unfortunately, most people who will watch this probably don't have calibrated TVs or projectors, but hopefully it will look good to them as well since the colors are pretty neutral overall.
I have posted A calibration forum here

Side note: you post threads, not forums. Forums are where you post threads.

What sort of insane person calibranines their T.V. ?
And if there was such a person don't you'd think they would go into great detail about it in a custom built, fit for purpose thread rather than hijacking this one for their personal jollys?
I have deleted my personal Calibration,YOUR WELCOME!!!!

I totally gave up on YouTube (some of you may have noticed I deleted all my SW videos).
What I was however planning to do was make a little documentary for the BD, explaining what the DeEd is and maybe upload that to YouTube when it's done. It would explain the most important parts of the OOT issue and how the general public is being deceived and misled into either not even knowing there was any earlier version of it or at least thinking the original versions had cardboard cut out spaceships and stuff and how the DeEd can be used to educate people about this issue ;-) Covering my ass a little there but at the same time I believe that it is true.
Yes I've notice you deleted your videos, cool that you are making a Video about DeEd and OOT.Please do posted on YouTube.

Brightness is black level (make the blacks as dark as possible without having crushed blacks).
Contrast is white level (make the whites as white as possible without having crushed whites).
For Sharpness put it as high or low as you can without having edges on the picture or having the picture be to soft.
NOTE: Calibrations will take about a week for your liking.
Natural Red is just like the Crayon/marker color , natural blue is like the crayon/marker color, and natural green is like the crayon/marker color. So take a White Paper and draw 3 separate lines with the Red, Blue, and Green with the crayon/markers. So when you use a calibrate system/disc for your T.V. look at the paper and try to make the colors look as close as possible to the colors on the paper without washing out the colors.

Your welcome.
I like both the Original 70's and 80's release, plus the Special Editions.and It would be nice to see a The Originals Restored in HD on blu-ray,similar to [Harmy],[puggo],and [dark Jedi and You_too]edits,Or like the new Restored Jaws Blu-ray.That's way I singed the Petition 1 1/2 years ago
I've edited Post 1
Mainly what I have seen is Gamma set to 2.2 (1.8 for Internet)
Any one can post things that you found on calibrating.

Ok here's a couple random ones from each movie.
Some of you might not even see the difference, but I can tell you it's there, especially if layering the images on each other and switching on/off. The saturation was originally increased using Satmask in avisynth, and was taken down to 75% using Satmask again. And of course, the yellows are more correct now too.
now on topic
Thanks You_Too I'll remember that.
