Very cool m8 - really like the back covers too (great picture selection) - blends in in very well with the front and due prominenace is paid to Magnolia himself.

Many thanks for sharing - like the way you went with the poster set for voers and got the TDC logo on them and used Return of The Jedi, not Revenge for Ep6. Replacing 'The Unauthorized Collection' with 'The Original Trilogy' - nice touch.
Just dling your discart now too.
Always good to have another version of a set.

Moore's interviews on Trek are worth a read - there is a good comprehensive one on ign.com and a few links to others at trekbbs.com He's quite honest about his time on Trek - including his short time on VOY. Behr has also done an interview for ign - but alsa they havn't published it yet - would be most intriguing to hear his views...
It certainly make me think that Trek may have been in better hands under the leadership of Behr instead of Berman over the past years.

klingon_jedi - I remember the first time I saw In The Pale Moonlight - was just blown away by the power of the story and it's deliverence by Brooks. It certainly opened up all sorts of possibilites to what was going to happen in the Dominon War, and to the characters in general.
Commander Courage - Children Of Time - forgot about that gem of an episode, a welcome change to the War arc - more Trek episodes like this powerful story would be most welcome - tho I think TIIC would shy away from this type of premise now.
Sean Wookie - glad you're giving Trek a go, m8. The even numbered rule is a good way to go - tho don't expect too much in Insurrection. Season 3 of DS9 onwards is quite easy to pick up, lots of foreshadwoing , arcs and great episodes all start here, if you enjoy 'em can always give the 1st 2 seasons a go too.
For any fans of Trek I'd recommend trying to get hold of the DS9 Companion book - an ep guide and views of the cast, writers and producers - all brutally honest in thier assessment of what worked and what didn't and how the series evolved. Also of interest is the original ending of the series which was changed due to Berman objecting to it.
I wonder how it would have faired if it was being made today - subjects such as faith, beliefs, religious extremism, terrorism, biochemical weapons, cloning, gene alterations and war etc would surely have been watered down in the current world climate - esp given the way the majority of VOY and ENT episodes have so far been very bland of making a social comment of any sort - let alone entertaining us fans.
On a side note it was good to have seen such strong recurring guest actors such as Andrew Robinson, Casey Biggs, Jeffrey Combs and Marc Alaimo and given strong storylines and dialogue in a series. A definate bonus to the overall feel and tone of the series.

It seems strange to not see Maul and Palpatine on the front cover - though I do like the look of having just 4 or 5 characters on the front.
If you need more space on the back cover for more drawings, the texts 'In a stream of seemingly endless never ending...' all the way to the end of 'enahnce the feel of the overall story' could be removed without info on the film being lost.
Perhaps the gold lettering could be changed to silver on the spine so that the drawings fit in better wit the rest fo the cover?
I'd wait for other ppl's opinions and suggestions before thinking of changing anything though.

I'm not sure on the 'redundancy' of Dooku due to what happens in Ep3 - apart from his death, we don't know the details of the on-screen stuff of what's going on yet.
That's a pretty big jump in conclusions to the main reason of the Emperor smiling at Vader in RoTJ is that it reminds him of getting Dooku to resign from the Jedi (did he?) all those years before.
I agree that the events in EP3 could make it quite difficult for Magnolia to carry on the consistancy of Dooku - though it should be interesting to see how he does it - though it all depends on just how heavily Dooku features in the final cut of Ep3 too...
Hi & welcome to the boards.

(continued from Rikter’s post above)…
-
Some Threepio dialogue uses different takes. The additional lines (“The tractor beam is coupled to the main reactor in seven locations. A power loss at one of the terminals will allow the ship to leave…”) are missing from the laserdisc version.
-
The echo in the core shaft (“I think we took a wrong turn…”) is present in both versions. However, the echo is more pronounced in the laserdisc version–probably because the video is missing the surround channels.
-
The laserdisc is missing the now-famous “Close the blast doors!” line.
-
Intership voices during the final battle are not synthesized.
-
During the final battle, “countdown” voices on the Death Star and at the Massassi base on Yavin IV are completely different.
-
Luke’s line on the laserdisc, “Blast it, Biggs. Where are you?” is different on the pre-ANH video: “Blast it, Wedge. Where are you?” (from the collection of Peter Poulakakos).
Rik - Cheers for the preANH info too, mate.

If I had a dvd writer I'd be tempted to do the same thing here in the UK and offer the OOT for cost and help stop the really high prices (and the selling of other people's covers) of late on ebay. The more people that have the OT on dvd the better.
Make sure you don't finish out of pocket though, m8.

Was Lucas (or one of his companies) one of those who responsible for getting the site taken down - and int o the legal side? If so was it the actual posting of the 2004 dvd covers that got it into trouble? (amongst others)
