There are a couple people interested in seeing them - is it ok to post your email address there and point them in your direction?

When I got the MagnoliaFan Edits of Eps 1 & 2 delivered I was excited like a little kid and immediately put Ep1 on - got a big tut and roll of the eyes from my missus, after a few minutes she's engrossed in them and no longer going shopping with her mates - and she put Ep2 on straight after. A few weeks later she's loaned them out to her mates (without telling me!!!) and now keeps asking questions about all things SW and 'how come it was so boring when she saw it at the cinmea?'
Sci-fi - good or bad does have strange effects on women...

Something containing, or another word for 'deception' would be appropiate?
For Ep4 how about a title focusing on the Rebellion's 1st major victory of the Empire?
and perhaps for Ep6 '?' of the Jedi (? = another word for re-emergence)?

Having the 3 directors (Kasdan standing in for RoTJ) would seem to be proper way of doing it - though if one of the other 2 were critical of GL in some way is GL the type of bloke to allow it on 'his' set? Or would it be edited out etc? Would the other 2 be ok with that, or demand that they are shown in full or not at all?
Having the 'Lost Cut' on there too would be great - though the amount of cut scenes GL has held back from Eps 1 & 2 on their dvd releases gives me the impression that there won't be - unless GL is planning some sort of bumper uncut scenes dvd to ocme out in a few years time. More likely is that there will be more tinkering with all of the films in the next batch of whatever edition GL is going to release in a few years - OR - that he deems the unseen stuff as unnecessary or unworthy and we'll only get to see it drip fed through his pay-net Hyperspace service, a la the failed Jedi mission to the control ship in AOTC.
With less than 2 months to go GL or his staff have let specualtion build as to what is on the latest set - how long they can keep the wall of silence going for is yet to be seen - personally I think the silence tells us not to get our hopes up... there is still more tinkring to come.

Cheers for the description of the Executor box-set lads - am I right in thinking it was a UK only release?

I have often heard of the Executor Box-Set - in fact my m8 has one (tho it's still in it's wrapper and he hides it from me when I go around - prob petrified I may unwrap it or something! lol). Though I don't know much about it - apart from it goes for quite a sum on ebay and are obviously very rare.
Could you fill me in on the details and contents?
(one day someone'll do a thread with all the differnt available versions and thier formats... - that'd come in handy.)

It's good for a role reversal at times.
On a different matter, I love the Theatrical Version OT - and will gladly watch them over any other of Lucas' edits, though a list of further changes that possibly will be made by GL should not upset people here. GL will go on to tinker with each new home viewing format - he has done so in the past, he is doing it now and he will do so in the future.
Even after the 'Arhival Edition' or whatever they'llbe called I'm sure he'll go onto make further changes with each new passing home format - giving the fans the excuse that this was his vision and the new latest technology has only just made it possible for such and such a scene to exist...
All of which makes GL look an arse - and more of the fans will be disillusioned and join or begin thier own quest to get their preferred, or maybe even all, edits out on the latest format too.
Luckily for us, we already have a damn fine choice of dvds of the OT - and soon no doubt the quality of those will improve with the introduction of a good dual-layered dvd, and then it'll move onto the next newer format.
In the end Lucas has lost - the Theatrical Edit of the OT will be seen by an ever increasing group of people - it exist's now and it will exist for a long time after GL and many of us here have passed on.

I'm SO gonna print them off for my 2 Edits - plus they'll match my 'Inksaver' OT set too!
Nice touches and praise to MagnoliaFan in the blurb too.
I havn't managed to get hold of MagnoliaFan on AIM yet - so havn't received his covers yet, but yours are damn impressive Rik.
Any news on the new MFE Ep2 subtitled disc?

Why all the hostility to Obi-Wonton? He posts a list of rumoured changes for us all to see and gets hassle for it?! C'mon lads, surely we're better than that?

Is anything else known about JW-Titus?
My knowledge of SW fan novels is limited but I imagine it's not often you come across someone with writing skills and the ability of pacing a story out like that.
