I've started burning a few copies of your newly subtitled Ep 1 MagnoliaFan Edit - Balance Of The Force and will give them to a few mates here in the UK, and a couple in Italy that were interested too - all free of charge.

I'll keep a few spare copies too for anyone else interested.

Didn't realise they had both the original MagnoliaFan subtitles and your new subs on the dvd - with so much going on here it must have slipped my mind

Though the disk is NTSC based it does of course play on any multi-region dvd player - which nearly dvd player over here in the UK (and probably most of Europe has the capability of anyway)

Local dialects, many translations over the years, the development of words and language along with their meaning changes over the years.

Translating it itself would have been difficult, and then translating it into differing languages through two different eras - say 100 years apart may well give you a different book, as well as any political or power games played by those involved.

Not forgetting that the Bible is a collection of stories from many different people with differing points of view from a range of varying eras.

Had no idea they changed that much audio for TESB - very cool updates, Mentasm.

Interesting to read people's comments, suggestions and memories at the end of slight changes to what we all THINK we saw and heard in the differing versions and formats...

for the Ep3 Edit.

Hope MagnoliaFan adds ADigitalMan's subtitles as an option to his eagerly anticipated new Ep1 Edit, too - it'd be cool to have the choice of either.

Sounds an interesting set - can you tell us how it compares to the TR47 or Dr Gonzo sets, or perhaps post a couple of screencaps on here?

Are they anamorphic or letterbox?, NTSC or PAL? Does your set have a title screen, menus, or chapter stops?

Sorry for all the questions - just interested in some info

I loved the Hoth level on Rogue Sqadron the most - even better than the RL2 and Rebel Strike, always seem to have more time to go around shooting stuff in your own time

I don't think I phrased my post above too well...

'At what point does another country decide that you can or cannot have nuclear weapons?' - below that are reasons as why, for me, one or two countries should NOT be allowed to take control and implement military action - and not a dig on the situation with Iraq.

I know it parallels recent events, though I was trying to keep it hypothetical - but I suppose it's all in our subsconciouses at some point. What happens next time if intelligence suggests that a country may be developing a WMD program - at what point do you give trust to a country that has got it wrong before - let alone give military aid to it?

Should there come a time when the US are the country left with a nuclear arsenal - would they make steps to rid themselves of it? Would they rely on convential armed forces to defend itself?

If they refused to 'get rid' does that not send out a hypocritical message to the rest of the world - and ultimately the rearming of other countries would start all over again?

(sorry - too many questions :confused
