Why would you transfer despecialized to vhs lmao if you want star wars on VHS there are a multitude of official options available
Maybe just to try it mate? To see if we could still do it? To raise awareness of Despecialized? (Despecialized 1 - 0 Special Editions 😉), to have someone sit down and go ‘hey cool, someone put Despecialized onto VHS’ etc, or just for the craic 😃

This may sound like heresy to some, but I’d be interested in seeing if there could be a DVD-DL version of the NJVC sets. I have the blu-rays (obviously) but I think some people might be surprised just how many individuals don’t own blu-ray players and have no interest in buying them.
NJVC and Harmy may feel that this would compromise the quality of the sets too much. There would certainly be quality loss, so perhaps its not the best idea.
But on the other hand, I see no harm in a member trying their hand at tinkering. If the end product doesn’t turn out well, nobody has to download it.
Same here - there are also some mp4 type Despecialized versions (non-njvc version) up on myspleen for those who wish to store them on usb drives - or watch via streaming like plex or Chromecast etc - and Harmy gave his permission for that.
I think there are a fair few differing Despecialized versions, formats, sizes, and quality - all floating around the public torrent sites too (though likely without Harmy’s permission).

Hi there. Thanks to you I have aquired these awesome sets of iso files. I was wondering if you think there would be any interest in making the sets smaller in file size. Just the three main 50gb discs obviously. I’m talking about a complete copy/ shrink down to bd-25 size. Ive done this with Star Wars already and am about to try Empire, using a program called BD rebuilder. Because I didn’t want to fork out for more expensive 50gb blu rays. The quality imo is no different. Ive played the 50gb iso file mounted with daemon tools alongside my newly burned 25gb version on my blu Ray player and I honestly cant tell any difference in HD quality or audio.
I want to give something back to the community here and I dont do film restoration but I am pretty good at video encoding so I had this idea. I have a paid for Mega account which I would upload the files to for everyone here to use. Obviously only if enough people show an interest. Mainly I had this idea because some of us dont have great internet so the prospect of downloading 75gb instead of 150 is a little less daunting and people could still get these sweet sets with the exact same motion menus and features etc. Anyway what do you think? Would Any of you here be interested in a lite version of the njvc set?

Perhaps if you decide to do this (or make the 3 current 25gb iso files available) you should maybe ask Harmy and njvc if it is ok with them beforehand? - and you may wish to talk with solkap for any ideas, suggestions or help etc?

It went down to the 2nd half of the final round of qualifying games - USA were in a qualifiying position and looking good at half-time - then Mexico and Costa Rica surrendered their leads in the 2nd half - and the USA slid down the Group Table as they lost to Trinidad & Tobago - missing out on the World Cup by 1 point.
Shame as the MLS is doing well - and grassroots / coaching apart - the future was/is looking bright for US soccer.
Rumour is that you’ll be soon hosting another World Cup again in 2026/2030…
Fear not Frink, a resplendent World Cup 2018 thread will likely appear on these baronial parts sometime soon - likely after the draw is made on the 1st December.

Italy fail to quality for the 2018 World Cup - after losing 1-0 to Sweden over their 2 legged play-off.
Other big footballing nations who haven’t qualified are Netherlands, Ghana, Chile, Cameroon, Nigeria.
The USA didn’t qualify either - edged out by Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama in their group. (Honduras are in playoff vs Australia)
