^ I think that’s really well done, mate. As someone who didn’t really have an issue with the original scene I’d say that’s a fair improvement upon it, especially with the metal creaking sounds too. Nice one.
As an aside, would shortening the amount of time Leia is pulling herself to the ship (likely cutting to Poe’s view from the ship window earlier) help with those who do have issues with the scene overall?

Just saw Solo. Forgive me if this has been covered, but wasn’t the Millennium Falcon shown in Revenge of the Sith sporting a traditional (if not as beaten up as in the OT) exterior?
There were a few ships of the same model (and it is a modular-type range of ship) shown in ROTS - I wouldn’t be surprised if George or someone at Lucasfilm said something along the lines of ‘yeah, sure - that could’ve been the Falcon if you want it to be’ etc - though I don’t think there was anything official stating it definitely was?
There were, of course, also a few other ‘easter egg’ type references in the Prequels too. It probably rhymes or something 😉

I think this right here was the peak of video games as a medium.
I loved the similar looking sit-down Star Wars arcade cabinet as a kid, and was tempted to build something similar (likely adapted with pc setup for a lot more games) not long ago, yet saw some of the prices involved… eeek!
