They use bad noise reduction in their animated features and they censor content that could possibly be construed as racist. Disney isn’t the greatest for sure.

Back to Star Wars! We know that the SEs have been cleaned and restored in 4K by RMW yet they weren’t able to show them at Celebration. Perhaps a surprise Blu-Ray set is coming?
Wait what? He actually altered American Graffiti with CGI? I don’t recall seeing any gungans running around that movie. Looked pretty normal to me.
IIRC, the director’s cut also features extended/alternate/additional scenes not present in the theatrical version. I’ve never watched the theatrical version, though, so I don’t know how correct this is.
Well in this case, the lower is definitely better (more natural in terms of what human eye would capture).
I don’t mind special editions of movies as long as the changes/additions aren’t gaudy. The final cut of Blade Runner is a SE done right
At least Blade Runner has every cut available nice and restored in a nice box set. Georgie doesn’t seem to understand that concept.

If you type “unaltered” into Google, the first or second search suggestion is “unaltered Star Wars” so I guess a lot of people do want it. I don’t think it’s a fringe of people

I don’t think we’ll hear anything about the OOT at Celebration. We can only hope that they will release it this year low key
It would be logical to release them anytime because plenty know the difference and plenty will throw money at Disney and Fox
Maybe we’ll all wake up one morning and check Blu-ray.com and see a pre order for the OOT.Maybe they’ll release it low key?
