I don’t know how to help with the confusion. On some issues you and I are coming from very different places but I don’t know what has been unintelligible. Sometimes maybe it’s just about accepting someone could actually hold the view that they say, such as me thinking Frink’s comment was an odd nonsequitur. Obviously you don’t have to agree, but you should be able to understand.

I don’t think so. The parents never bothered putting in effort to make their child less sickening so we’ll never know for sure but I don’t blame the kid. She was like 3 so I’m blaming the terrible parenting. There’s little that I hate more than parents who decide that since their lives are ruined, everyone else’s lives have to be ruined too.

This is funny because my parent nearly cut part of my ear off when I was a kid. She wasn’t a terrible parent at all though and it was an accident but that reminds me of it.

And I almost forgot, these terrible parents at the restaurant were completely ignoring their screaming children, and then, when the children weren’t screaming, these terrible parents decided to start being difficult and telling their kids not to do things and then the kids starting crying and screaming again. Terrible! Some people just suck so hard that it’s unbelievable. I used to assume that I’d be the worst parent on Earth, but apparently I would actually be ahead of at least one set of parents because the people at that restaurant were so fucking awful it was appalling.

I’d like to bitch about the fucking terrible parents that take their small children to restaurants and allow them to scream at the top of their lungs (directly into my goddamned ear by the way) and make absolutely no effort to keep them quiet. Disgusting. Parenting was never more than a passing interest for my parents but at least they tried to keep our noise at a reasonable volume out in public. This is why I never go out in public, but I had to for a family event. And it just pissed me off.
