Regardless, given how long it’s apparently been since you’ve seen the film, you should watch that scene again and see if you actually feel that way or your memory of it is distorted. If the former, I’d argue you’re putting your own interpretation onto a scene that doesn’t contain what you say it does.

Second, you say this as though the media in general doesn’t do this. Drumming up drama that likely didn’t previously exist so that they can make themselves sound justified when they complain about it.
So even if Peterson does this, which I’m not convinced he does, he certainly would not be the first, last, or only person to do this on either side of the fence. There’s an entire culture and market where people and corporations make money off of manufactured drama.

i am not help desk type support, we provide level 2 support to various clients, support specific technologies. So we are the people that the help desk calls. So we avoid most of the headache of directly dealing with end users, but some help desk people are extremely frustrating as well. (they try a bajillion things before they call us, 99% of them things they shouldn’t have done) thankfully this type of work is only like 20% of my job.

It’s also interesting to me that this fraud is constantly complaining about how men need to be masculine and strong and all that other shit, but he looks like he’d be blown away by a sudden gale. There are also videos of him crying like a baby over people not believing in his warped and unconvincing religious theology. This man is only impressive to incredibly unimpressive people. There’ve been a lot of red flags ever since he’s started receiving attention.
How old is Padme supposed to be in TPM? I guess Portman was about sixteen while filming but I always interpreted her character to be about 20 at least since she’s the Queen of an entire planet, but if that’s the case then she didn’t age at all in the decade between TPM and AOTC. I am unapologetic for this. I am allowed to be uncomfortable in certain situations, and I internalize little rebuke for it.

One of the biggest myths on the internet is that the far-left has a huge influence on mainstream art. I said it earlier, but most big movies and TV shows aren’t very progressive. They actually try to avoid controversial things. Take that IT reimagining from last year, for example. If Hollywood were really some bastion of social change and progressive politics, they would have used that as an opportunity for commentary on violence and racism faced by black families in rural white America, which was a prominent issue in the novel. Instead, they ignored it and didn’t once mention race. There’s a lot of examples of this. Hollywood and TV are quite moderate. They’re fringe left when compared to red-state southern culture, but not by any other standard they’re not.
