What happened to The Boost?
What happened to The Boost?
That can’t be possible, the internet seems like it’s still pretty new. How is the year 2000 16 years ago?
I don’t know man… Everyone born in the 1950s is at least pushing 60 now. It’s sick man.
I like that Benjamin Kenobi is in the back of the ANH poster in a black and white shade. Since villains filled those spaces on ESB and ROTJ it is almost as though Ben is a villain since he is to blame for the fall of Vader (assuming we ignore the BS prequel version of Anakin just being an a-hole).
DtT is pretty great.
I agree, but what does Dithiothreitol have to do with classic rock albums? 😉
I like Breakfast in America by Supertramp. I had an acquaintance that committed suicide after high school during a drug induced rant, and I always connected the song Goodbye Stranger to that. The lyrics “feel no sorrow, feel no shame / come tomorrow feel no pain” reminded me of the incident, all of the lyrics sounded like they applied to that situation actually. It makes it difficult to enjoy listening to the song, even though I would consider it one of the greatest songs ever written or performed.
I just recently picked up a copy of Damn the Torpedoes by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and I really liked it! I would have to listen to it a couple more times before I could say if it was one of my favorite albums of course, but I definitely see why it is considered great.
You forgot to bold that one. Also it’s at least eight words too long.
I just can’t do anything right! When I worked at a valet service I accidentally mistook a person for a parking space. . .
i wish you wouldnt read anything i comment on.you’re just trolling.
There you go again. Not putting a space after a full stop. Did no one teach you proper grammar?
Even if not, why can’t he learn?
This is not correct. You have to put a space after the period and before the next word.
This is correct. I put a space after the period and before the next word. Also note that you have to capitalize the first word in each new sentence. This is correct. this is not.
after nearly 80 posts in two days ninedy percent of witch were complaining about other users he stopped posting for over twelve hours.so i hope that means he has decided not to keep causing trouble and starting trouble.if i werent such a troublemaker id not be starting trouble and trying to start crap.i wonder if he will keep on posting in off topic.other than spamming adys thread briefly all he did was complain in off topic.so lets hope not.
I want a spinoff about Yarnow d’al’ Gloogan.
I like the part where there’s a guy named Egglon who was so fat that when he got stabbed his gut closed around the sword and his entrails leaked out.
Not even making fun, I’ve just always thought that was great.
I love that one too!
There are a lot of Christian churches that do not subscribe to any denominations. I think there is a compelling argument to be made that none of the denominations, Protestant or Catholic, follow what the Bible actually states.
Hicksville is likely the only place left where people think listening to rock and roll is a express ticket to hell and evil deeds. What would they do if some homicidal maniac had a complete collection of Lawrence Welk?
You’d be surprised about the amount of people who are still concerned about rock and roll. You’re right that it’s mostly just hicksville, but a significant amount of the population lives in hicksville!
Possessed is right. Catholicism didn’t come around until at least 250 years after the death of Christ, which in itself is LONG before Russian Orthodoxy (Russia wasn’t even a country yet, let alone having any exposure to Christianity). Churches in the Bible were not united in any way other than their connection to Paul, but seemed to exist purely to serve the people in whatever Roman province they were located in.
The Catholic churches must be different than regular Christian ones. I recall a pastor out in hick-ville (where I used to live) that had some very nasty things to say about George Harrison. This was a bit after the whole “backwards masking” farce of the 80s, but since I lived in the land that time forgot I suppose it just caught up to us because I heard a lot of BS about playing Led Zeppelin and the Eagles backwards too.
La Haine is an extremely good French film. Check it out for sure.
I am not offended by any specific word, but the words deemed offensive are always based on the culture you’re in. Keep in mind that the word nigger is not considered offensive in most European countries, or at least not Eastern Europe anyway. The reason, because Europe does not have the deep south, or the history of violence against black people that the United States does, which is why it is so impolite and offensive in America. On the other hand, however, the word Paki is incredibly offensive in the UK at least, but in America I don’t think anyone would bat an eye at it, or even know what it meant. Fag is also another term for cigarettes in Britain!
I think every situation is different and the context always matters as well as the intent.
I was referring to Frink specifically, but who knows, maybe DominicCobb is too. Frink thinks that one word that refers to mental illness is dreadfully offensive when used as an insult, but another synonymous word is totally fine.
Some people get offended by certain things, that’s the way of the world. I get offended when people stand in the way like mindless idiots at the grocery store. Will you bombard me with pages and pages of posts about why that’s an inappropriate thing to be angry about?
Just to clarify my position, I am in favor of using all words as insults! Just avoid them around people you know will be offended.
thats funny coming from you.since you started crap with me.
I’m just a troublemaker, so it’s in my nature to start things. Either way, you are the one who ruined off topic from March 16-18, so at least I don’t have that dishonor.
Go with the Lennon glasses. Those are the only ones I ever wear!

not surprised with how you look.
No need to be a dick now.
I’m not complaining, just asking why. Is it a political statement?
if i didnt use a spacebar my words would looklikethis.you’re just a troll.and a bandwagoner.
Let me rephrase that. Do you ever use the shift key? Why are you opposed to capitalization? I am genuinely curious why you don’t capitalize any letters.
I’m a troublemaker?
I don’t hate it by any means, but I was never a fan of Jaws. I should watch it again though since it has been so many years. I might have just been in a bad mood at the time.
