They’re to the left and the right, while he’s stuck in the middle with you.
Someone once cut off my ear while that song was on the radio.
So if TFA ended with Rey getting on the Falcon to go find Luke, that would have been a better ending than her finding Luke?
What?
Did it happen in TFA? Then it was bad.
Nope.
Does imperialscum jerk off when he’s being an irritation?
Vote now.
I hereby forthwith ban you from this thread. This poll is stopped.
If you want a thread barring TV’s Frink there is always this old gem: http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/The-thread-for-evil-trolls-Tvs-Frink-stay-out/id/48149
Why would anyone rip off Divergent? That would be the equivalent of ripping off Eragon.

Delicious Hypocrite, is Delicious.
On a level of team_negative1 telling people to obey the forum rules!
Moderated Off-Topic:
the other sections of the forum are moderated. Are they like that? And the proposal here was lighter moderation than they get.
I agree Warbler. There’s a lot more nonsense going on in General Star Wars than in Off-Topic and the moderation hasn’t hindered that. The only moderation I’m in favor of is banning people like Darth Id, who exist purely to attack people, as well as banning spam accounts. Ghimli, for example, was banned for being reprehensible but had he posted his trash in Off-Topic, he would still be allowed to post.

HA!
I usually don’t reply to the haters but I just felt compelled in this one specific instance. No hard feelings.
Haters… haters to what exactly ? What do you mean, dude ?
[Frink, is that you ? You’re a little bit funnier usually]
Oh yeah, just keep on hating dude. Just don’t have a cow man. I thrive on all the hatin’ bro.

I know that Finn is in the movie, but your exposition and corruption of the scenes makes absolutely no sense.
I don’t remember you. Who are you again ?
You can’t remember anybody because you’re 12 years old and have only been around for a couple months. Please do keep posting though.
Now, what about the black slave stereotypes of TFA ? Finn is a black dude who deserts his masters (his main job was toilet cleaner), who gets a new name thanks to a white man, who drinks the same water as an animal, and who gets beaten by Rey because he’s accused of having stolen the jacket of a white man by a white ginger droïd ? I clearly find this quite offensive.
That does not make one lick of sense.
I thought Austin Powers could have gone a lot further in spoofing 007 movies. Poke fun at the gunbarrel and title sequences. The otherwise forgettable Spy Hard had an awesome title sequence, directed by Weird Al no less!

Annoying that you can only find a textless version on Youtube.Best gunbarrel spoof can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rlW38INlCQ#t=0m26s
You’re too young to watch violent movies.
I think they referred to it as 1997 just to reference the release date of the SE. I’d be surprised if they did a screening of any SE that isn’t the current one. What’s the point? The only reason would be if they were specifically showing it on film, which seems unlikely. As far as I’m concerned the blu rays aren’t any worse than the 1997 SEs. There are just a few extra changes (some worse than others), but the 97 SEs are already unwatchable for me anyway, so the Vader screaming “No!” is just another nail in the coffin.
Did they cut it down before releasing it in theatres? It wouldn’t make sense to release it as a PG film and then only edit it down for the home video release. Wikipedia also doesn’t offer any closure, so I’m hoping you know.
Realistically they would still screen the SE whether the originals were available in HD or not.
What did they cut from Land Before Time?
I bet it’s the blu ray version. Most people don’t acknowledge the later versions as being products differing from the first SE.

Wasn’t there also a scandal within the trial about a racist policeman/detective as well? There were so many different layers to the drama.
It fits right in with “the guy who played Jar Jar says it’s not a racial stereotype so it must not be” and “you can’t have an Asian stereotype if he’s too tall.”
I agree with your debunking of his post, but I don’t think it’s fair to place my statement in the same league as that nonsense. My point was that the opinion of the black actor who played Jar Jar matters more than most when it comes to whether or not he is a racist character.
I always assumed you saw Star Wars in theatres.
Thanks? I did see the SE in theaters opening day. Got interviewed on a Knoxville radio station for “not even being a zygote when the original came out”.
You just are so knowledgable about all of the changes that I assumed you were like mverta and had been an avid fan since 1977.
I remember being at work and getting called into the conference room to see the verdict read.
Now that’s very interesting. I wonder why the entire nation was so interested in this case, was it just the constant news coverage that forced it to become important? Was everyone really that concerned about race, like it showed on the series?
I was too young at the time. All I remember is that the highway chase interrupted TGIF, which was the only TV I was allowed to watch back then.
I always assumed you saw Star Wars in theatres.
We also got Phasma, our first female villain (unless you count that lizard-girl assassin thing in AOTC), but sadly she didn’t do much of anything.
