It’s hip to say the prequels were misunderstood.
Taking a small nuclear family to a film (if you buy concessions) is now almost as expensive as a concert ticket. It’s sickening, and I won’t go to a theatre unless it is at an hour in which no one will be there.
I did, but there was no definitive first or second place so I threw out some suggestions, although I think team_negative1 should have imperialscum’s second place.
I was so young when I first saw the BTF movies that I didn’t realize the parents’ older and younger versions were played by the same actors, then after I rewatched them when I was nine or ten I noticed and felt like a total fool.
“I, Mudd” is one of my favorite episodes of TOS. It’s just so goofy.
I loved that one too, primarily because of the dancing and the silliness used to fool the androids.
Because I had never heard of it before in my life. I also have no recollection of it ever being in theatres.
I just find it really offensive that they would use the Alamo as a place to screen films for other people’s entertainment. Over 200 Americans were killed there and I don’t appreciate the insensitivity!
Mudd’s Women was actually the first episode of Star Trek that I ever saw, and is one of my favorite TOS episodes primarily for that reason. Looking back on it, it is actually quite boring though.

I’m currently watching Left Behind with Nic Cage and Lea Thompson (!). I will report once I’m done, but I don’t think anything recently has made me feel as old as seeing Lea Thompson play the mom.

I’m not aware of some of these deleted scenes being available in any quality resembling HD, specifically not the original Jabba and Biggs scenes from the first movie. Supposedly negative1 had access to those, but I don’t know where you’d be able to track down sources for those.

Whenever someone does that to me I just stop talking to them, and ignore them until they stop. I used to try and appease them but I gave up on that and just figured I’d wait for them to get over whatever problem they have. It’s passive, but still effective usually.
I didn’t think the third Hobbit movie was much better/worse than the other two Hobbit films. I enjoyed them all equally, although I really have no desire to see them again.
I think Bombadil would’ve taken some of the sense of urgency out of the Hobbit’s journey. I love his part in the book though, but I think Possessed is right in that it wouldn’t have translated well into film.
