Jesus Christ . . .
Jesus Christ . . .
Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh
I absolutely love Joe Walsh. Life’s Been Good is my favorite song by him (not counting work with the Eagles). I saw him and the Eagles in concert a while back.
Good to hear that it went well.
I didn’t know such a tool existed. I guess an IP ban could work, but from my understanding IP addresses change frequently, but maybe they’d be able to monitor accounts by IP, and see if two accounts are logging in with the exact same address. Again, I’m not sure how it all works, but it sounds beyond my technological understanding.
He’s going to tolerate the less obnoxious ones for now, in order to avoid foolishness like the Something Something personality from a while back, who I would bet money was IKnowWhatYouDidLastSummer.
Honestly, I greatly prefer the idea of Padmé dying in childbirth to the idea of her living on Alderaan with Leia for a few years, which would imply that she purposefully parted with her son Luke.
You mean that you prefer the fact that she “lost the will to live”, therefore not giving a damn about any of her kids (ignore the ridiculous fan theory about Palpatine sucking the life out of Padme to give it to Vader) , to her fighting to live and at least being able to be there for one of her kids? Any decent parent would have fought tooth and nail to live, not just give up because your psycho husband went bad
If you spent your entire life fighting to preserve a democratic republic only to discover your husband ushered in a violent dictatorship which oppress your future children indefinitely, losing the will to live is a natural response.
MEDICAL DROID: Medically, she is completely healthy. For reasons we can’t explain, we’re losing her.
OBI-WAN: She’s dying?
MEDICAL DROID: We don’t know why. She has lost the will to live.Although the medical droid states Padmé lost the will to live, it never states that the loss of the will to live is the only cause of her death. On the contrary, it states that Padmé is dying “for reasons we can’t explain.” Losing the the will to live was not the primary cause of Padmé’s death; it was only the subsidiary cause. The primary cause was something inexplicable and supernatural. Presumably Palpatine withdrew the Living Force from Padmé to save Anakin’s life, which is why if you listen closely Padmé’s heart stops beating the moment Anakin’s heart starts beating again.
It is very poetic: Padmé died the moment Luke and Leia were born and the moment Anakin was reborn as Darth Vader.
lol
“This subforum” would include that thread.
Is it possible this subforum is the worst Star Wars thing ever made?
I’d say so.
Good job, that’s another example of why the majority of people on here wish you weren’t here.
I love the Coruscant chase scene. It was so cool
I would rather be strangled to death by the tape from a Hall & Oates cassette than watch the prequels again. I can’t believe that people think the PT is fun and colorful.

People say I’m crazy, but TWINE is in my top 10, and close to my top 5.
Another thread in General SW has devolved into the Youtube comments section.

He didn’t even take up Robert Harris’s offer when he offered to restore the theatrical cuts FOR FREE
There are two things to consider with this. First: did Harris actually offer this personally, or was it an off the cuff comment on his forum or in an interview? If the latter, I would not consider that to be a serious offer. Second: this would also cost Lucas a significant amount of time and money. Just because Harris would not demand compensation, Lucas would still have to pay for all of the materials and workers necessary to make it happen, not to mention he would undoubtedly watch over everything himself.
(Just Like) Starting Over - John Lennon
This song deserves a mention due to its lyrics being incredibly positive and wonderful, but given what happened immediately after its release, I can’t think of it in that way.
Why would Disney and Fox executives be willing to discuss Legacy with Verta if they had no intention of ever releasing the non-SE versions of the films because of Lucas?
A credible source familiar with the matter told me it’s a plot to enter his residence and steal and destroy his masters.
Rather than engage in speculation, I contacted your source, and he told me that Disney has just released the OOT on Myspleen.
I just watched Two Towers a couple nights ago. Most of the CG holds up.
It does. It’s hard to believe it came out around the same time as AOTC.
Anyone complaining about poor practical effects or overuse of CGI needs to watch the making-of doc or the creature featurette.
Why watch a featurette when you can complain?
I hated Maz Katana because the CGI was bad. It ruined the whole movie for me. The prequels are underrated by the way. I heard that AOTC was even better than ESB.
I got possessed simply by looking at your new avatar.

It’s still him, but they screwed around with his face in editing to make him seem like he was Idiot Idiotsen instead of Shaw. So you were right, from a certain point of view.
I really hate it when trolls unearth old threads.
I don’t think HansiG is a troll so much as he is a poster with a very esoteric* sense of humour.
*“Esoteric” is this sense being shorthand for “only funny to himself”.
I think he is literally Wario64 reincarnate.
For those like me who grew up studying and revering the Bond team, this one truly hurts.
