I call every piece of music a song, but the very definition of a “song” is lyrical.
EDIT: As in a song is a set of lyrics.

Yeah, instrumental is written as a specifier, but I was never under the impression that meant it could’t be called a song.

I never knew that a song without words wasn’t a song. Especially when you have songs that are almost entirely instrumentals with one line of lyric placed somewhere in the midst (like Magnum Opus by Kansas). I’ve always used instrumental as a specifier of a given song.
Instrumental is almost always written next to the title on the back of albums. Albums don’t exist anymore though, at least not in a physical form.

Yeah, the blue screen was real bad in Temple of Doom. Short Rounds feet always bothered me the most because it was just so unnecessary. The practical effects they did use always looked good to me though.

Did you fast-forward through the mine-cart chase, the raft in the water, the car chase, the bug scene, the sacrificial tearing out of the heart, the rock crusher fight, most of the bridge scene etc. etc. and then only watch the part where the water shot out of the side of the mountain and Short Round’s feet dangled from the bridge?
The fact that nothing of consequence happens in the movie makes it very inoffensive once the shock wore off. Clones and Sith are so nonsensical, yet have such dramatic content related to Star Wars that they are incredibly miserable to watch.
All of my video game systems from NES to Gamecube work perfectly, and I doubt I’ll ever have a problem with them.
It still has some nostalgic watchability for me. It’s so low-stakes that it’s hard to actively despise it. For the past several years I’ve been meaning to put in Episode I and give it a watch again. I’ve yet to do this.
The guy was on his third or fourth sock at the very least. His previous incarnations were trouble enough.

Even though TPM ended up being a horrible disaster, seeing old images and footage of its advertising still brings back a lot of fun SW-related memories. To anyone on here too young to remember, the hype was intense, and the advertising really made it seem like TPM was going to be a real movie. Of course we all know what happened, but it’s fun to think about how excited everyone was to see how it all began.

I saw the ps2 version for literally 4 dollars. I feel overwhelmed by it though because I’m not all that into rpgs and I don’t have the patience to be good at going in depth and leveling up properly, collecting stuff, etc. Truthfully the only ones I’ve ever beaten are Super Mario Rpg, Mega Man X Command Mission, and the Paper Mario games. And while all those games are beautiful as far as Rpgs go they are pretty shallow. I only bought FFX to get immersed in the story and atmosphere.
