The Beatles remasters in 2009 were great. All Beatles CDs before then were questionable at best.

There are always exceptions to the rules but unless the original has abysmal production and/or mixing then you should probably stick with the original. But that’s just me. And you should always stay away from fan remasters.

Remastered albums don’t really alter the original master tapes; in fact, a lot of remastered music comes from the original masters when the previous copies either didn’t or were shoddily transferred. This is why the original CD release is rarely as good as the later ones. ZZ Top is a great example of this, but that’s a slightly different situation since they fiddled with the drum tracks for the 80s release, but restored the original mixes on the newest CD collection.

Happy Memorial Day! (2016)
Time

Sadly, I’m actually not sure if I had any ancestors fighting in the Mexican War or the Spanish-American War, although I doubt any fought in the latter. I do know for a fact though that I had no close relatives fighting in Korea. My grandparents were in WWII and my parents and uncles were too young to have fought in Korea. They fought in Vietnam though. I also have reason to believe that an ancestor fought in the War of 1812, which I believe I mistakenly left out of my list.

I suspected this guy was gonna turn out to be a noxious little bitch the moment he threw a hissy fit in the re-writing subforum just 'cause some guys didn’t share his vision for the ideal PT; now it’s been confirmed.

Here on out, BillionaireBozo is on spiritual ignore.

TheQuazz is obviously a sock of Billionaire.

If you need to B*tch about something... this is the place

I’m not sure where your college is, but we’ve seen free speech under direct assault at some of the biggest and often “prestigious” universities. Missouri, Yale, Harvard, UCLA, Rutgers, UMASS, Depaul, and the list goes on and on. Hate speak is a slippery slope too. Recently Black Lives Matter defaced a pro-police billboard and of course faced no consequences. The people attacking Milo Yiannopolous at every turn have not only been permitted, but also congratulated and encouraged.

A lot of the people in the universities are Marxist to the core. Marx and Engels’ filthy trash of a writing the Communist Manifesto is one of the most prescribed texts in Universities. The whole notion that everyone is oppressed by class is a Marxist notion as well, which is very prominent in university. Freedom of speech is also under attack primarily in university campuses. I think most millennials are opposed or indifferent to this attitude, but the most vocal are in full support of these retrograde notions.

Ask the member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints AKA Interrogate the Mormon
Time

My main confusion about the LDS church dietary constraints (and it’s really applicable to the Catholic Church as well) is how can they justify prohibiting the overconsumption of meat when the NT quite literally says in 1 Timothy that the prohibition of foods is a sign of a false teacher.

3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

Now that I think about it, it’s more of a question for Catholicism because there seems to be some confusion within Mormonism on whether or not meat should be avoided but I’ll let Ender address that.
