Captain America (1990) - 9/10

Almost a masterpiece, and infinitely better than anything Marvel’s done in years. It’s better than the Captain America today, both in performance and plot. It even has better special effects! My only complaint is that it was too short. The film ended with me wanting more.

Overall, I give it a thumbs up!

The etymological meaning of Lucifer is “bearer of light,” making Luciferians consequently the bearers of light and thus of the truth.

Also, last I checked, Protestantism has its origins in the 16th century, before which time, Christians were almost universally Catholic or Orthodox, and it is they who invented the rule that all true doctrine must come from the Bible (note that that rule isn’t anywhere in the Bible…). Talk about changing the rules, huh?

Before the Catholic church, there was no all-encompassing institution that governed the individual churches. 2 Timothy 3:16 also set the standard for living by the scriptures.

EDIT: Just so you know, I have no loyalty to the protestant churches. I don’t think that an individual church should be very big. The bigger, the more corrupt.

I can’t remember exactly what you’re religious beliefs are. Could you remind me?

It comes and goes.

I think they’re all better than pretty much any superhero movie ever made.

Yeah but superhero movies pretty much suck.

I love the two Burton Batman movies but those aren’t superhero movies.

Yeah, I like those also. Other than that I disliked almost every superhero movie I’ve seen other than Guardians of the Galaxy, which was pretty funny. I didn’t really consider that a superhero movie either.

But why does quality really matter if you enjoy it?

Meh, don’t know, I just put it there anyway. Maybe I should have two different ratings, one for quality and one for enjoyment.

I don’t rate things, but if I express my opinion about a movie I usually differentiate between the two. For example, one of my favorite movies is the Village, but I don’t call it a great movie objectively.
