That’s pretty much how I am too, but so far four people have a SW movie as their favorite. If forced to make a top five I’m sure Star Wars would be in it but I would never be able to rank my favorite movies decisively.

I was never prevented from watching any PG-13 movie.

The only movie that I remember my parents refusing to let me watch was Basic Instinct. I actually haven’t seen it even to this day.

He also thinks that morbid obesity is a health benefit. I doubt that anyone other than a millennial would think such a foolish thing.

I can never understand how people can flip so completely on films (and music for that matter) that they once loved. The Phantom Menace was the first Star Wars film I ever saw at age 10 and I loved it. Even though I now realize it’s objectively a bad movie I still really enjoy watching it. I think in this IMDB ratings/RT score age we’re all getting caught up in whether something is objectionably good or not that we completely forgot to enjoy ourselves.

You aren’t allowed to enjoy anything if people around you don’t like it. If RLM said Gone with the Wind was worse than the Garbage Pail Kids movie, generalfrevious would immediately amp up the crazy and write a novel in this thread about how that’s how he feels now.

I thought Boyhood was pretty good by the way. I’ll probably never watch it again though.
