They do have two copies of Star Wars and Empire, and just one of Jedi. The library itself told me when I emailed them a few months ago.
Slightly off topic but if the National Film Registry included Star Wars among its selected films in 1989, why did Lucasfilm offer the SE print 8 years after the fact??? Was Lucas intending to change the film(s) as early as '89 and wouldn’t submit a print until the film was ‘finished’???
Seeing as how the Library itself had two copies already and the National Film Registry is essentially just another bureaucratic wing of the Library of Congress, it probably wasn’t much of a priority. Who knows really? I’d be curious to see how many films on the registry don’t have prints submitted.
Ender, I have no doubt that you and the majority of other Mormons wouldn’t even consider ostracizing somebody for their faith, but it is a very real thing in many Mormon communities. I’ve seen it happen to people that I know and (without speaking on his behalf) I think that darthrush has a legitimate reason to be worried.

Great or not, I’m just not interested in it. I feel about as apathetic about Star Wars as I did about the Carrie remake. Which is really sad but I guess it just proves to me that I was never a Star Wars fan, just a fan of three specific movies.

I did see Rogue One, and I enjoyed it. I’m not really interested in the spin-offs as a whole, but it’s the episodes that I really am not interested in.

Where are you from? I think the non-US discs where more exciting. Why they chose such a boring design for us Americans, and why it was even deemed necessary to be different, is beyond me.

We did. The packaging for the compete saga’s original pressing was quite nice.

I’ve noticed two perspectives online, the main one being that there has never been a greater time to be alive because of these Star Wars sequels, and the other (smaller one) being that they are a heretical attack on the “”""“SAGA”"""". I have no opinion about any of it. I guess I was disappointed at first when I saw TFA, but I lost any real feelings towards it not long after.

I don’t really have any advice because I understand the difficulty of your situation, especially given the Mormon church’s tendency to ostracize people who leave.
They did look great. Those were at a time when discs weren’t uniformly boring. A lot of discs wouldn’t have any art but a lot of them did. Now almost all of them are just a title slapped on the label.
So I just broke my audio technicas after falling on my sister’s shitty bike. Serves me right for biking with anything other than shitty fucking headphones.
I really think for safety reasons you should not wear any headphones while operating a bicycle.

Well I’ve never heard of him, so I don’t know about the latter, but on the former, I just looked him up and apparently he blames women (mothers specifically) for all of societies problems, so I’d being willing to hear arguments as to how he’s worse.
That’s about right, and add to that that he believes that his followers should cut off all interaction with family and friends who believe in simple things like paying taxes, because he believes that thinking people should pay their taxes is the equivalent of wanting someone to be shot (no joke). He’s way worse.
