I don’t mind people who admit the prequels are complete trash but love them anyway. As someone with Superman 4 and Jaws the Revenge in my Blu-ray collection, I can’t throw stones. But I don’t go around defending them nor my love for them. I know they suck.

It’s hard to imagine. I definitely get why a lot of people on TFN dislike this place though, especially if they come here and see stuff like this.
I get that we’re on a forum called OriginalTrilogy, but we can favor the OT without bearing more of that toxic ill will or disrespect towards anyone else who thinks differently. If we want to put it in perspective, “pro-prequels” are more likely to be younger, and at a point you’re really just shit-talking kids. Way to go, champs.

If anything, if Hayden is in the film and gives us a good performance, that would redeem him in the Star Wars universe. People will see him as that excellent role in The Last Jedi and not annoying Anakin from the prequels.
It legitimizes the Special Editions and every other terrible ass change Lucas did.
The fact that the Special Editions have been commercially available since 1997 legitimized it, whatever that even means.
