I wasn’t referring to you specifically, I was referring to the Christmas culture in general. And yes, most people that are uncharitable piles of self-centered trash don’t shut up about the spirit of giving that supposedly has to do with Christmas. The boring religious element, while irritating enough to me on its own, also makes the consumerism that defines Christmas all the more hypocritical.

I agree with Nephew Fred.

If you give a shit about giving, forgiving, and charity then practice them all year round. Don’t designate one day a year for it. Also, none of that shit has anything to do with Christmas. It’s all about buying cheap garbage, teaching kids to be greedy, and decorating houses to create light pollution. On top of all that, there’s a boring religious element to it. It’s all so perfectly hatable for me.

I remember laughing out loud at that one.

What I said comes from a guy that worked with George on the DVDs, so it’s probably more or less true. The only problem might be that he just uses that as an excuse to justify the shoddy quality of the 2004 DVDs, so he may be playing it up a little bit as an excuse. Who knows? George did say in 2010-2011 that the reason he only released the SEs on blu ray was because of money, but that also may have just been to get people off his back.

And by the way, I know I’m part of the problem because my dumb ass was at the store fucking around too, but it still pisses me off. It’s only busy like that around the holidays.

There was nothing as bad as Chewbacca’s Tarzan yell in Rogue One. I didn’t like the droid, though. I’m not sure why he was such a big hit.

I hate Christmas. I hate every single thing it stands for. I hate Santa and I hope he hurries up dies of the massive heart attack that’s been centuries overdue. I just got back from the store trying to buy food and it was full of disgusting people running around buying shit they don’t need to give as gifts to people they don’t like and probably don’t want any of this shit anyway. I can’t wait for this horrific, sickening, chaotic, nauseating, hypocritical, pure evil holiday to be out of my life for another year.

I read his comment on it but didn’t watch the video (because it’s an hour long), and I don’t like his take at all. The shooting was not justified. The fact that the incidences leading up to the shooting were coercive and vile makes the shooting unjustified. Taking someone hostage and then shooting them to death when you think that they might vaguely be reaching for a gun still makes you a murderer. It doesn’t matter what you thought they were doing. The problem is that all of these “good cops” are willing to stand up, even if only tacitly, for the bad cops. That’s why the problems in American law enforcement will never be solved at this rate.

I think she has very little personality other than that she’s mostly grim and down-to-business. Such an attitude doesn’t usually work without having a more sympathetic justification for that kind of coldness. Sure she lost her parents but so did Luke and Leia and they had some spirit.

The thought of a blu-ray of the OOT didn’t even enter the minds of the execs in charge of this deal.

I have little desire to see TLJ till the crowds die down. I waited a good month or two to see Rogue One in theaters.

Other than Luke, Vader, and the Emperor, a lot of Jedi’s scenes are a whole lotta nothin’.
