Well, the latest is The Sims 4 Pets just came out a few months back and was the best selling pack for the game so far. Then they put out a DLC for a DLC for the first time and no one was happy.
It blows my mind how they can keep rereleasing sequels and then selling the exact same expansions for them again.
My point was that it sounds like a mechanism for squashing all dissenting debate. The very act of discussing a change to a law could be labeled “promoting” illegal activity, and all involved with running the forum where the discussion took place could be criminally charged. That sounds rather patently un-American to me. A dangerous precedent.
It’s dangerous but there have been other things similar to this done to attempt to police the internet. It is usually done under the guise of fighting sexual exploitation (e.g. human trafficking or child pornography) but in reality doesn’t combat that issue and only serves to threaten people that are not guilty of those crimes.
Indeed. LBJ was complex, Trump isn’t. Part of the reason I said LBJ was worse is because he had that legislative experience and did some terrible things, he knew what he was doing, while Trump doesn’t.
All of these politicians are heartless to a degree. LBJ knowingly did great things that no other president could have done along with some terrible things that many presidents before and after him have done. Trump is just knowingly destroying accomplishments made by this country over the past few decades.

Many of those were programs JFK wanted to get through but never got the chance to, and lest we forget:
Trump may be an idiot, but he hasn’t knowingly lied about a foreign offensive that never took place so he could send thousands of the nation’s young men to die for a war they never asked for.
LBJ was no boyscout. Anyway, this isn’t the politics thread.
Kennedy failed to get any of those programs passed, wasn’t nearly as liberal on social issues, and was also interested in escalating the Vietnam War but never had the chance to. Trump has no redeeming qualities and LBJ’s accomplishments at the very least are on par with his failures.
Yeah, this bill is nothing but guilt by association.

Not all of them want that, but whatever they still suck because they’re participating in the march for life.

Kes - I had to watch it with the alternate dubbing because the Yorkshire accents were so strong, but it was fantastic. It was a pretty accurate depiction of the human existence, although the Ocampa didn’t look anything like they were supposed to look. Other than that oversight, though, I loved the film and would recommend that everyone watch it.
I’d love to see 2001 this way; I’ve only ever seen it on a TV screen.
