Can you at least all agree with me that having a dating relationship with Jordan Peterson would be a waste?

Here’s a clip where Jordan Peterson acts like a seventh-grader and talks about how he’s always ready for a fight (he’s like sixty, who the hell is he fighting?) and then laments that he can’t beat up women.
Conservative hero, fake philosopher, and skeezy self-help author Jordan Peterson condones sexual harassment:
Whatever you want to make about his statement about hypocrisy, I don’t hear him say what you hear him say.
He says that women who don’t want to be sexually harassed but wear make-up to work are hypocrites. I consider that to be, at least in part, condoning sexual harassment. Imagine if I said, “Well, that person got raped, but really they shouldn’t complain about it because they wore perfume and makeup.” I bet, and hope, you’d at least think of that as rape-apologetics.
Other than this clip, I’ve only seen that one famous interview with him but I recognize his view to be very formalistic. So he can say on the one hand a woman is hypocritical to wear makeup when she doesn’t want sexual harassment in the workplace, and on the other that sexual harassment is not condoned. Those things are not mutually exclusive.
They’re not mutually exclusive in the same sense that saying someone was asking for rape isn’t condoning rape in a totally literal sense of the word. But they’re close enough.
That said, I disagree with his formalistic view and with his particular point here about a woman being hypocritical for wearing make-up. But they’re close enough.
You “disagree” with it? That’s not enough for me. I question anyone who doesn’t find that stance to be repugnant.
Something tells me that if I went up and pinched Jordan Peterson’s ass because his suit and tie are just so sexy, he’d probably not appreciate being told that he’s a hypocrite for finding that behavior objectionable. Why else would he wear such sexy clothes if he didn’t want me to tell him that he’s “a sexy-ass motherfuckin’ sex-hound beast” and that I want to stick my hand down his underwear? Obviously he wants me to do that, or he wouldn’t be wearing that suit. He’s totally asking for it and if he isn’t, then he’s a hypocrite. Obviously!

That probably says as much about you as it does him.
Way to go making a discussion personal, Frink. Get a grip.
Oh so it’s only a problem when I do it and not when you do it. Talk about hypocrisy.
But yeah, if you don’t see it the way mfm laid it out, then yeah you might have a problem. It’s the “she asked for it” defense, one of the oldest and shittiest plays in the book, and you excused it. So yeah, that says something about you.
On an unrelated note, Jordan Peterson has been accused of sexual harassment at least three times.
Shocking.
Also, I really wish you’d have posted a Ric Olié picture in response to this.

Don’t worry, he said they’re “completely baseless” claims.

That’s very artistic packaging for a first-time release on blu-ray.
I forgot about him. He looks pretty menacing, I guess, but he looks very human. What about the more alien designs? I’m thinking like something along the lines of a Tuskan Raider or Wampa or Gamorrean Gaurd.
That’s fair enough. I feel the same about the Hobbit movies. 😉
Jordan Peterson is a backwards-ass misogynist and a deluded advocate for regressive, “traditional” values that have no place in a modern society.

Have there been any good alien designs in Star Wars since Return of the Jedi? I can’t think of any that I liked designed after '83.

Trying to explain something you can’t or won’t explain
I’m struggling with this one.
Journalist murdered by Israeli forces.
Yeah but it’s a waste of my time so no thanks.
I certainly don’t value your time, but that seems like a strange thing to worry given the amount of time you waste on this site.
What’s the point explaining something you guys either can’t or won’t understand?
I don’t know about Handman, but I want to know what people’s thought process is and I want to know why they think and like and want the things that they do. I likely can’t and won’t understand it, but I am still curious.
I don’t understand why it’s so hard to believe that maybe if they drastically retooled a movie after it was almost finished that maybe that movie wasn’t turning out to be very good. Occam’s Razor and all that.
It’s not that I find it hard to believe, I just wish they’d be more transparent about how things went down. With there seeming to be a gag order on the subject, I don’t fully trust anything that makes it past the guard so to speak.
I wish that they were more open about the process too, but it seems like LFL (or maybe Disney) is trying to make it seem like these are trouble-less productions.
What makes Gilroy seem credible is the fact that it sounds like he’s telling tales out of school (he holds back only when it comes to directly stating things it sounds like legally can’t be said), and what he’s saying doesn’t really reflect well on the studio.
It does reflect well on himself, and a common criticism of Rogue One (whether you agree with the criticism or not) is that it was heavily reshot and the implication is that it was reshot for the worse. Cynically, it would make sense for him to say something like this. I’m not calling him a liar, I just don’t feel comfortable with taking it for granted that Edwards’s version was bad just because the man who was hired to reshoot it says so.

I’m neither happily nor married, yet still agree.
That the thread is ridiculous? How so?
Don’t make me sigh.
I don’t know. Everybody else not explaining their position and expecting me to just know what you mean is kind of ridiculous, though.
I’ve never particularly understood people’s behavior or what they think about things, kind of like Data in Star Trek (except I’m really angry all the time), so I also get frustrated when people don’t explain their feelings and behaviors to me.
But people wore baseball caps all the time in the 1960s.
Not outside the home or a baseball stadium, not really.
I get the baseball stadium, but the home? People went around their house wearing baseball caps, and took them off when they went out? Where do you get your information from?
Top men. Top. Men.
I just figured if anyone were to wear a baseball cap outside a baseball stadium, it’d be at home, where you’re less likely to look presentable. I wear PJs at home, but I change when I go out.
I just can’t even.
???
It was an off-handed comment, I didn’t expect analysis.
Now you know how I feel.

Sighing is illegal on this forum.
If someone were completely happy, I would find that person disturbing.
I find it hard to believe that anyone is actually happy.
EDIT: Please commence making fun of me for that statement too.
I guess so. I don’t really enjoy being around people for too long. If I’m around the same person for more than an hour or two a week, even if I like them, I get very frustrated and annoyed with them and have to extricate myself from the interaction.
I guess a non-failed relationship is just emptiness. Or think of all the marriage jokes you’ve ever heard.
I don’t know if it’s emptiness. I don’t see the appeal of marriage at all though.
