I also have thought about this.

If one would take the laserdisc player and put it in one of these (iscan) for example and take the output into the Capture Card on the computer, would the signal be Progressive? And would it be an improvement over the direct signal into the comp?

I thought about Swedish subtitles (since i'm Swedish). But i don't know how to make them?!
And i should say i use a Mac if anyone out there has any tips on programs.

BTW, how much space does a subtitle for one language take up?

Zion - Ever thought about taking the soundtrack (the complete PCM track, not only music) and Normalising it?
I think it was Isomix's dvd's that had the OST on a different track and it was alot louder, could it be that the LD sountrack isn't Normalised?.

Just a thought.

The question is, would it be worth it to get say... MeBeJedi (just an example) to transfer them once again with his new and improved transfering capabilities, or is the quality gain just not worth the work?

Hi, this is my first post here.

I must say i'm very interessted in seeing how MeBeJedi and Zion's Sets are going to look like!

I found my way here when i bought my T47 Bootleg set and started too check for comparisons of Bootleg sets, and i follow the threads closely.
