This isn't the TV cut I'm familiar with, unfortunately, which is the exact one you describe. I labelled it "New TV Cut". (it also uses a stereo mix, which the original prolly didn't.)

Is there any chance you can put this divx online for me? I'd just like to check it out if possible.

Another alternate take that was shown in the Canadian television version was during the scene where the Terminator shoots the owner of the gun shop. In the theatrical version, you actually see the owner get blown away, but in the television version, it replaces this with a view from outside the store. You hear the shotgun blast and then you see the door of the shop swing open.

Also interesting are the alternate lines of dialogue:
When aired on TV, many alterations are made. Like when Terminator confronts the punks and orders them to turn over their clothes, Bill Paxton's response of "Fuck you, Asshole" is changed to "Eat this, scum!"; Vukovich's remark of 'Like shit, boss' is changed to 'Like you've been dead for a week'; etc. etc.

Molly, do you know if your tv cut has these changes and the alternate shot?

I don't know about anamorphic though. I'm not the best guy to ask when it comes to frame sizes, ratio aspects and audio sped up stuff.

I only know that T3 has been released in fullscreen DVD in the USA, and not internationally. So far I know T2 has always been released in widescreen on DVD. I'm not sure about T1 though.

Ofcourse other movies then JC's movies are released on fullscreen. It did happen with the Lord Of The Rings trilogy set and the Star Wars boxset as far I as can remember clearly. But to sticky to this James cameron topic, I'm not sure about his other movies.

I do have a DVD dedicated to him, a documentary which is also in fullscreen, but about his movies... I don't know.

I got mine via Ebay.

There are 2 remarkable things about the T3 fullscreen DVD:
1) you see one of the T-X's boobies during her naked walk... hmn, perhaps the reason why I imported the DVD from the USA :-D
2) there are some errors visibile in the fullscreen cut, which were not visible during the widescreen (simply because that area is cut off by the black bars). When Kate takes John's paintball gun, she takes it twice (or something like that, I don't remember it clearly). Another thing is when the T-850 starts firing his gun at the cemetery. Because of the visible area (that was normally hidden by black bars) you see that he already starts firing quickly after this turn towards the screen. But the audio of the machine gun is not starting yet with this (newly) visible area.

Here you all go: the NTSC Version 2.0 of my T3 T-HOPE Edition.
Finally I can close this chapter and start a new one. I just quickly checked the DVD and it looks liked it works. The fancut marker is not perfect because it was transfered from the PAL to the NTSC version, but I don't care.

Go there where the demons roar!

Why should the PAL T3 audio be speedup? I mean, the original rip is from the PAL DVD. Now I made a NTSC version, so shouldn't the question be if the NTSC is slowed down?

Again, I have no idea about audio pitching, so I could be completely wrong now. But to me, it looks like the audio is in synch with the video in both the PAL and NTSC version.

I just resized it. Used VirtualDub MPEG to resize and frameserving into CCE. Then ran GPulldown after this to change the framerate into 29,97. I didn't even have to change the audio, it just fits with the video.

I noticed that the fancut marker (just a subtitle) runs not completely in synch during the end of the movie like it did with the PAL version, but I am not gonna change that anymore.

I would wait for the extended edition. Just found out that there's way more scenes of Sandman and the developement of his character:

The original novel scene in which Sandman meets with his family in the park, forms himself into a sandcastle to which his daughter responds). After the family leaves, he reforms and then Eddie Brock approaches him for the teamup.

Thanks. Just keep in mind that it's not all DVD quality, but also internet rips or vhs rips. Some videos may even have large pixels (perhaps some promotional spots). It's the best I can do with the source material.

But as a huge Terminator, I put my heart and soul in it ;-)
